Biggest difference between Foreman and Herbert is it appears Foreman is a good pass blocker. Haven't really seen anything from his NFL career, but one of the notes I seen about him coming put of the draft is he allowed zero sacks on 160 pass blocking attempts.

Him getting just 16m a year backs up everything thats been said. I heard teams around the league were scared to commit to him, not just the Bears. To me, he was just a name, and I was fine passing on him. I believe Braxton Jones had a better PFF rating than him if I remember correctly.

Ehhhh, it shouldn't be. Especially if they're trying to make some sort of push. I think having a guy like Cox on a line with a bunch of young guys, that should have some benefit.

You know what I'd do? I'd draft Carter and sign Fletcher Cox to play right next to him. Cox is said to be a strong leader so perhaps having a guy like him around for a year or 2 would help get Carters head on straight. Ironically Cox owns a legitimate drag racing team.

I'd still absolutely draft him at 9.

Could the Bears go Northwestern go back to back with their 1st 2 picks? They've talked with Adetomiwa Adebawore about playing 3T.

I can't imagine they go into next season with Borum as their RT. Not after what they've done this off-season. Unless.... they wanna move Jenkins back out to RT, which I don't see happening.

Yeah, I'm off my game trying to post between stops at work. Edited my post to add in beyond the 1st round. Definitely some 3T options in the 1st, but beyond that it's bleak. I think they need to go OT in 1R.

I made mention of that when he signed. Have to wonder if there's a plan to make him a full time 3T. Maybe give him an off-season to bulk up just a bit more too. I'd honestly be down with that plan. I don't think they're getting a good starting 3T in the draft beyond the 1st round so they may have to get creative here.

I'd absolutely do that. Starting to think they really like Braxton Jones though. I'm not mad at em for that either. I think if he puts the work in to get stronger he can be more than solid.

2 guys on the trade market that intrigue me. Laremy Tunsil and Austin Eckler. Tunsil might be too rich for my blood, but I would really love a guy like Eckler given his recieving prowess.

Walker is mildly interesting in that there was a lot of talk about him as a 3 technique in the NFL. Wonder if that's a thought. Highly productive in college at FSU. His 17 sacks were 2nd in the country in 2017.

Dalvin Tomlinson makes a lot of sense. I like him more as the nose tackle, but absolutely call be the 3T. I'd sign him and still look at a 3T in the draft.

According to overthecap they're at $53m before whatever Nate Davis is getting. I'm kinda hoping we see a Whitehair/Patrick/Rookie OC competition.

Kancey is absolutely going in the 1st round. Maybe even 9th to the Bears.
