  1. I prefer the upper deck no matter what the park and I have been to quite a few. I think it is the best view of the game and on top of it is always about the cheapest seat you can get. The upper deck at Comiskey-or whatever they are calling it these days- is no steeper or farther away than that of any other park I have been to especailly regarding the retro parks I have visited-Camden, Ballpark, Turner-but it is the only park in which I have consistently heard the fans whine about it and talk about how scared they are. I never saw anybody fall there either.
  2. Stick with who is doing the job. Wright wasn't exactly pitching like the next Walter Johnson before his injury so if you have 5 guys doing the job send him to the pen until one of them stumbles. However like earlier posters said it was only one good game for both of them and only against the Tigers and in cold weather which always seems to favor pitching. Either way time will tell.
  3. Would love to see Ivan Rodriguez in a Sox uniform next year especially given the Sox woeful catching situation but there is just no way. Baltimore already offered him something like 3 yrs at $6 million per and he said no. I don't see the Sox coming up with more than that and the only other thing they could offer over Baltimore is that he would be playing on a 'contender'. Of course we all know how much the Sox have 'contended' the last two years.
  4. His bad moves still far outweigh the few good ones. However, his more recent moves do appear to be showing some sign of improvement but I think the jury is still out on those moves.
  5. Wunsch stinks! Always has, always will!
  6. I believe they already said they would and I don't see JR backing down on it. Thomas is a shadow of his former self. A more versatile player would be better for the team.
  7. I had my doubts about Crede from past experience seeing him and from all of the hype which always makes me skeptical but I am still in awe of those two HRs against TOR that night and he has been great ever since. Of course now the question is can he keep it up over a full season after teams have learned more about him? Only time will tell but for now I am a believer.
  8. I think we have had enough damaged goods on the staff lately. I would pass on Reynolds.
  9. Foulke's numbers since the all-star break have been great whether or not they included saves.
  10. Seems like every September you have to wonder why they didn't play like this all year.
