I get wanting to restart, I really do. I want to as well but I have yet to see one person cry for the country to reopen provide a HOW. What is the plan? This just proves that they don't have one.

Notice how every interview is something along the lines of 'I should be able to buy such and such' and not 'I want to go back to my job where I interact with hundreds of people a day'

The thing that drives me nuts about these people is that we all, including most trump people, have made and will continue to make pretty incredible sacrifices for the well being of all of us and it's all going to be for not because of a group of paid protesters and the terminally stupid.

My assumption is that the effect on us is gas gets super duper cheap for us, (it was already $0.98 in bumblefuck Michigan yesterday), it stops getting produced and as things ramp back up gas prices explode. Not to mention where we start to see real supply chain issues.

This whole “when will the government open the economy” is the wrong question. You can open restaurants all you want. A lot of people (most?) still won’t be going. The question we should be asking is how to we make it safe enough for people to be comfortable going out.

Oh for sure. I was losing it like end of February and my parents were laughing at me. I called my mom at one point to offer to pick my sister up from school in Alabama because the school I went to shut down the day before sports shut down and they told me to relax. Day after sports shut down they drove to Alabama and back.

Problem with looking at deaths is that those numbers are already baked into to data from a few days ago. New hospitalizations is the most telling number imo
