  1. His hair is terrible. Bleday is much better looking.
  2. Brett Baty looks like he'd tell his Dad to sue you for not taking him
  3. I'm just going to be frank for a moment. Why the fuck would anybody tell a reporter/analyst anything right before their pick?
  4. Bleday is projected to go #4. That is anything but a reach.
  5. I have way too many questions for Abrams at #3 personally. I want Bleday for a LH, slugging, corner OF bat that we desperately need. Vaughn I have some concern with as well but nowhere near the amount I have with Abrams.
  6. Anderson obviously has more than 20 HR in him. He also wasn't the #3 pick. All I'm saying is I don't want to have a light power middle infield down the road.
  7. Possibility of growing into power is not what I'd want with the #3 pick. I've seen him projected as a 10-15 HR guy. We would have a middle infield combining for like 15-20HRs in a few years.
  8. Best case is Orioles do Orioles stuff.
  9. Law just put out a 3.1 mock 30 min ago. These pay walls are a joke.
  10. It makes sense though. He is hitting against kids he is 1.5 years older than. That is huge in HS.
  11. When is FG supposed to release their last mock? CBS, if that means anything(it doesn't), has us taking Abrams in their latest.
  12. We have 6 guys currently that project to or are 1B/DH types. I would much rather get a slugging corner OF since we don't have any. I'm not counting Eloy for obvious reasons.
  13. Burger, Collins, Mercedes, Eloy, Abreu, Vaughn. Give me Bleday.
  14. Idk how comfortable I'd be with a potential middle infield combining for like 15 HR.
  15. The last 2 games I went to did not have Yo in the lineup. This is pretty shit.
  16. I would like Bishop or Bleday at 3. I don't know how much money that would save though.
  17. Talk to me at the end of the month. If we are somehow still a game or 2 back it would be a miracle after June. The Sox are over performing right now and have a negative 40 something run differential.
  18. We have got the piss slapped out of us by every good team we have played with the exception of an injured HOU and Yankees team. Beating the Royals, Indians, and Tigers is fine but this is the worst division in baseball and we aren't even at .500. We are 11 games out of first place. "Striking distance" is hardly where the Sox are at.
