  1. If we have to hear Hahn say that he was just excited to be at the table with Cole next offseason, I may go insane. ?
  2. Trying to get in with 82-85 wins as a Wild Card is flaky as hell. That is my point. After this many years of losing and rebuilding, we should be expecting 90+ wins and a shot at the division once Hahn’s plan is fully realized.
  3. Cole to the Sox probably makes more sense than any other potential move I can imagine. They have the money and desperately need to improve their rotation. But many of us don’t expect it to happen. It’s disappointing but it is what it is.
  4. According to Hahn, the rebuild was about “sustained success.” Winning the division year after year is what I would call “sustained success.” The Wild Card is a crapshoot.
  5. The expectations keep getting lower and lower. It’s like talking about free agency next offseason.
  6. Even their bat boy probably wants to hit.
  7. Hector should retire after this game.
  8. All you can do is laugh at this point. ?
  9. Is this fun bad yet?
  10. Quick, name all of Hahn’s good signings. McCann... ummm... Now, name all of his bad signings. This one is much easier.
  11. This turned into a blowout as expected.
  12. Haha, I didn’t catch that. It is. 1983, also the last time Ricky had an original thought as a manager.
  13. You guys may know the analytics on how to pitch these guys but you will never outclass Ricky’s decision-making gut!
  14. Sox hitters struggling against sliders? This has been a thing for years. That’s what my sarcastic “this should be fun” comment was referring to.
  15. 3 pitches and a strikeout swinging. Predictable.
  16. Sox lineup against a righty slider throwing closer. This should be fun...
  17. Yes, and Moncada could easily get there while it may be a bit of a stretch for Anderson on the HR side. However, Ricky would rather bunt them both to second base. ?
  18. Castillo and his PEDs managed to milk $15 million guaranteed out of Hahn. Between his suspension last year, injuries this year, and overall suckiness without his PEDs, he pretty much robbed Hahn blind. Yet another awful signing by our GM.
  19. Sorry, I meant 30/30 in the future. I agree with you on the 20 for this season.
  20. This is ridiculous. Also, I hope they do fire Maddon and the Sox pick him up, not that I would expect Reinsdorf to. He’s not my favorite manager but he’s light years better than Ricky.
  21. I don’t see any listing of the Sox TWTW percentages.
  22. Would be amazing if Anderson keeps these numbers up until the end of the season. His injury sucked. Would be interesting to see him get to a 30/30 season next year if he stays healthy.
  23. Haha, great point. God forbid Ricky actually learn and try something new... he may actually improve from a terrible manager to a mediocre one! ?
  24. Unless you factor in bench guys like Yolmer who are in the starting lineup, Ricky already is the weakest link.
  25. I was about to post this. Amazing how greedy these idiots are. To already earn millions legally and then risk jail time to make more money. Ridiculously stupid.
