05/28 - Game thread.
Delgado takes a strike - one ball one strike Ed and John still going on about letting Garland stay in Delgado is out 3-1 (I think or 3A) and Blue Jays down to last out

8-0, bottom of the 9th Garland, 98 pitches 8 innings, no walks Koch in - game Koch proof we hope - and he hits the first Toronto batter John and Ed wish Garland has stayed in

NO FUCKIN WAY
of course as this debate rages, Valentin makes the third out of the 9th inning way to go Jose! I am with our Man in Brazil. Jose contributed in 2000. That was forever ago. Give the man a gold watch and let's get a shortstop. And I am sure Jose will never lack for a blow job the rest of his life

I was wrong - there were two on - because Mags just hit a home run for a 8-0 lead

you won't believe this but JG has thrown a shut out for 8 innings - the Sox took a 2-0 lead into the 9th and have added 3 more runs - Toronto deserves it, they intentionally walked Daubach! Anyway CLee had a big hit and the inning is still going... new pitcher in for Toronto and Mags at bat with 1 out and 1 on

Best Movie Ever.......
I'm still in my heydey... I will not disagree with you at all on your trashing of those two movies because I haven;t seen them but have nothing good about them from any source that I respect. Did you see Igby Goes Down? As much as that is a flawed movie, I loved what it was trying to do. I also thought The Good Girl was a nice piece of film making - nothing serious, nothing heavy, but well done along the lines of You Can Count on Me. Titus was a noble attempt too... didn't achieve its goals, but it was a great shot at going for something more than Hollywood usually gives. But lately I have been enjoying Mexican films, specificly Y Tu Mama Tambien and The Criime of Padre Amaro.

More on Jerry Manuel
There was a lot to agree with here, and stuff that I have been thinking all season with this club. Thanks for saying it better than I could.

Best Movie Ever.......
The Unbearable Lightness of Being was the worst "good" piece of cinema I ever saw - and My Beautiful Laundrette one of the most under rated.

ESPN pre-season college
You see Washington all the time, they were preseason top ten last season, i think except for Purdue the last two seasons, the others are among the usual suspects (except maybe Virginia) but then I probably remember a tad few more years of college football than you - I remember when Frank played for Auburn - you actually disappoint me - I was expecting you to respond to the Dolphins thing with a giant Bills helmet

Curt Schilling Anger Management
but he should be suspended - my 3 year old grandson knows you are not supposed stuff that belongs to others, even if you are mad at it - but then most 3 year olds are more mature than most jocks -

ESPN pre-season college
I have no idea how to make that Miami helmet smaller - but on the other hand, everyone can read the inscription! Sorry about the huge size...

ESPN pre-season college
I like your Dolphins avatars - I am a Dolphin fan since they first started playing. They have been very good to me through the years. Someday soon I hope they hire an actual coach and get good again.

More on Jerry Manuel
That sadly is true. However when Frank sits I'd just as soon see CLee bat 2nd and Mags 3rd. But then again, what difference does that make this season.

June Wallpaper???
Alex (soxheads) did April and May and I too await his wallpaper for June because he does such a fine job - he may be on vacation now, or grieving Iowa State's recent run of tragedies.

at #5, With Coach Carr, they did learn the right lessons (ask Florida) - and Navarre is predicted by some to win the Heisman trophy!
