I'm old and never seen the Sox so punchless on offense.
-
it was really over at 1-0 but 2-0? Impossible.

The Zachs... Hugesoxfan... the gang of four (RPS, CK, Guido, Mr S)... NSC... HSC... YASNY... Steff... (anyone I forgot to mention, sorry)... it was so very good to see you all yesterday - my grandson thought you were all nice too! - sorry we had to leave early but had to hook up with a buddy and get in line and get that really nce glove, the grandkid was so thrilled with the glove ... I forgot to tell the intrepid gang of four that on Friday night the kid and I got into a debate as to whether St JosE6 was any good or not - the 8 year old voted yes, I voted no - although he also does a fine impression of Jose falling on his ass while fielding like he did Froday night - that was the first thing he showed hismother this morning when I brought him home - those who never get to the Cell, I feel badly for you - we had such great times Friday and Saturday for everything but the final scores and the lack of offense - baseball is more than wins and losses, it is friends and memories and being together and sharing our elation or our bewilderment or whatever we feel as we watch the games - I can't say what I want to about what it means to me to see and be with my friends, and to share you all with my grandson - that's about as perfect as life gets - as for the team, I have mystfied. They are not listless, but I have never in my life seen the hitting so weak for so long - I have no answers, no solutions, it does hurt though - but the outstanding memories of another couple of games at the Cell will include spending time, albeit too short, with you all - edit note: since there has no response to the good to see you all post, I will restrain in the futire of posting things like that - whether no one was happy to see me, or my sentimenticality is too great, I'll refrain and keep it to myself, no problem!

I will be too busy losing by slaughter rule again with my team and then getting drunk. well then I won't go looking in Section 160... good luck tonight
-
Maybe I'll be there and maybe I won't. Since it is glove day and I will have the world's best grandsion with me, we may just stand in line to make sure we get him his glove. We are going tonight too - will anyone be there? How will I know - I have to leave soon and won't be checking the boards. Tonight we are sitting in box seats - he has always wanted to and I never say no to the child. It is good to be my grandchild...

how the hell would anyone here know? at least I hope no one here knows... but from what I have read, truth

so far this year, that's right - sad to say and I am not happy about it - Mags might get a nod as a hometown biy since we host, but the only other nonEL potential we have, right now, is Olivo on defense and not horrible offense and he is only part time so I doubt it.

every good to great pitcher has a slump here and there. I think MB will get it back together very soon.
-
thanks for the info - gives me something to do on Monday!

unimpressive stats I look at his stats and he is a weak hitter, the kind that if are all on team we bash but if on another team we think they are God's gift - if he hit 260? He has done that only once. The rest of his years he has hit well under. Why would he suddenly blossum by coming to us? If he had his 2003 stats as a Sox player, the threads saying he should be dumped would be numerous.

when you are the best, you have nothing to fear from the rest. This site was made and operated by very secure and mature people, and it shows.

My most prized possession is a freezer full of Canadian beef.

that's very good for the first time -

did I say that? No. Your argument loses whatever credibility it had when you have to make up things to argue against to bolster your point.
-
I'll agree with that! all your circular arguments - it is everyone else's fault - still grasping at straws, huh?

I've seen St JosE6's leadership all season - why we are in first place with the rest of the division eating our dust Valentin makes great plays and sucks at the routine ones. Either his head isn't always in the game or the great leader is just an error prone fielder
-
So Rios sucks. The answer is not a weak hitting guy who by what standard will hit better with us than with the team that cut him? Being in the Sos roster willadd what, 100 points to his batting average? I'd rather have Rowand out there. He has a future and if you ask me, when his injury is totally healed, he'll be hitting a whole lot better in our line up.
