  1. Handling the pitcher is more important for the catcher than having a favorable matchup at the plate. If Cease prepared for this start with Collins then it was the right call.
  2. Got to like that first pitch do drop in curveball
  3. We really need TA and Engel back
  4. Good lord that was the weakest liner of all time
  5. At least they’re making him work
  6. So it’s up to Leury Garcia...not words you want to hear
  7. Collins taking these pitches nicely too. That last strike off the plate
  8. This is a good matchup for Vaughn right here
  9. I’ve seen more runners picked off second by a catcher this year than in my entire life I think
  10. Eaton isn’t bad against lefties. No reason to have Leury in there.
  11. He’s useful off the bench, he just shouldn’t be starting prominently
  12. Probably speaking too soon but Cease looking sharp
  13. Maybe Cease prepared for this start with Collins all week.
  14. Maybe platoon isn’t the foremost consideration when it comes to the catcher position
  15. At least it’s against a mediocre lefty
  16. Good thing Vaughn is on the bench for those high quality at bats
  17. Might as well just blow em away down the middle
  18. No way Lynn beats him to the bag there
  19. Yermin does it all with that bat
