QUOTE(CrimsonWeltall @ Jan 5, 2008 -> 04:44 PM) National Treasure 2 was one of the most nonsensical movies I've ever seen. It was still mildly entertaining. I liked the first one a lot. It was so out there but fun. I hated the 2nd. So boring. No good action scenes. The sequence on the square in the cave was cool, but that was it. And Diane Kruger.

QUOTE(gbuk @ Jan 5, 2008 -> 11:22 AM) Funny when people make fun of Kansas or one of your posts you attack their team, when they never brought up their own team and they had nothing to do with it. And calling Jackson "special" is still hilarious. Jimbo will get flamed annualy when the Jayhawks are ousted in the 2nd weekend again in the tourney. He's used to it.

Konerko to the Angels?
QUOTE(fathom @ Jan 5, 2008 -> 11:33 AM) I could see KW and Ozzie loving Figgins. And please, no Willits! ^^^^^^^^ I agreed with fathom. Must take shower now.

What happened to Boston College? Last year they were fun to watch because they were so fast and constantly moving. Watching them against Kansas in their half court offense is slow and dull.

Konerko to the Angels?
Figgins has consistently done it at the major league level for a few years now. Willits did it for half a season than tailed off a big last year.

QUOTE(WhiteSoxfan1986 @ Jan 5, 2008 -> 02:10 AM) When RR got hired I pretty much expected Mallett to transfer, then you add in the fact that there is a good chance Pryor will be going to Michigan. I heard it was between Michigan and Duke for Pryor. Guess Coach K said he could play football and basketball there. Is it true Pryor will anounce where he is going during that high school all star game this weekend?

Oh, that Britney's shameless...
When she started no showing court appearances and being seen with friends driving around, I stopped feeling bad for her. I was one of the few that thoughts she looked good at the VMA's.

White Sox Acquire Nick Swisher from Athletics
QUOTE(BearSox @ Jan 4, 2008 -> 09:01 PM) Am I the only one who hates trading lefties with natural swings and loads of potential? Like Jeremy Reed? No matter how good or bad Sweeney becomes, he was never going to get a chance here. Like Brian Anderson won't.

QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jan 4, 2008 -> 03:34 PM) Just bought The Kingdom and Rescue Dawn on DVD, can't wait to watch them. I've heard nothing but great things about both. Rescue Dawn is such an amazing story. Not only Bale, but Davies and Zahn are so good in it.

Rumors abound that Ryan Mallett may transfer to UCLA after the retirement of Lloyd Carr. Supposedly his mom spoke out about something. Not sure of what yet.

QUOTE(gbuk @ Jan 4, 2008 -> 01:59 PM) Please tell me this isn't a serious post. Nah, he'll split it with Sherron Collins as Kansas goes undefeated and wins the national title. Too bad nobody will notice because nobody cares about Kansas anymore.

Is Osama Bin Ladin Dead?
She says it as if it is common knowledge. I think if that was the case, the US would have confirmation of some sort and it would of been all over the news.

QUOTE(fathom @ Jan 3, 2008 -> 10:52 PM) I must have watched a different overtime than you did. Portland ran their whole offense though Jack. You did. Everything was Roy and Aldridge. Jack had the nice lay in off the Gordon turnover. Jack had a chance to win it at the end of the first OT and missed. I'd also like Hinrich to average more than 4 assists a game, as well.

In the clutch, let's stop having Gordon dribble. Let's run him off screens. He constantly turns the ball over in the clutch.

QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Jan 3, 2008 -> 09:48 PM) I dont know what filter TNT uses for their cameras at basketball games, but the games always seem to "glow"(for lack of a better word) compared to the dismal basement like feeling that comcast gives you. Its hard to explain, games just look better. I love watching games in HD from the United Center. Nice and bright and clear. Depends on some of the arenas and how they are lit, I think.
