  1. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Aug 5, 2007 -> 05:15 PM) You suck Craig Counsell. f*** Hit that ball hard. Rowand with a great catch followed by a nice grab by Gooch. Manny Parra had 2 outs and nobody on before giving up the go ahead 2 runs. DogGummit! Go Glavine!!
  2. Talk about feeling helpless. Yikes. That free air stuff is crazy. Surprised this hasn't happened to more people.
  3. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Aug 5, 2007 -> 03:34 PM) Row is the Dick Vitale of the college football. I knew there was a reason he annoyed the piss outta me.
  4. QUOTE(WhiteSoxfan1986 @ Aug 5, 2007 -> 04:17 PM) Of course you are gonna be bigger when you are 30 rather than 19.
  5. Good thing Ryan Braun can rake because he couldn't field a routine grounder in the 9th that allowed the Phillies to tie it after Cordero had to come in the game when Wise got into trouble with a 5 run lead. Bottom of 9 now tied at 6.
  6. QUOTE(briguy27 @ Aug 5, 2007 -> 12:24 AM) Like I said, steroids don't improve hitting ability and hand-eye coordination. Power- yes, some. But like you say, many other players did it and weren't monsters. Take Juan Rincon, Guillermo (sp?) Mota, and Neifi Perez for example There are certain steroids that can improve hand-eye coordination. And most steroids will improve your power alot, not some. There is a difference between certain steroids and the amphetamines that Rincon was caught with. Amphetamines is a big gray area. I believe in innocent until proven guilty but the evidence is just too strong against Bonds. I read 'Game of Shadows'. Something was going on.
  7. Showing Detroit that no matter how bad we suck, we still own your ass!
  8. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Aug 5, 2007 -> 02:04 PM) She's a family friend of ours and she's very cute. I'll PM you my phone number to give to her.
  9. Brian replied to Chisoxfn's topic in SLaM
    QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Aug 5, 2007 -> 08:44 AM) Get Smart I loved the show when i was a kid, I think Steve Carell is one of the funniest guys around, this couldnt be better for me. Check out the trailer/teaser Ha. Used to watch it when I was home sick from school. Carell is perfect casting. Hope there is a lot of Anne Hathaway running. The beads thing was good.
  10. Going to Miller Park on the 15th to watch them face the Cardinals. Looking forward to it.
  11. QUOTE(briguy27 @ Aug 4, 2007 -> 10:58 PM) I thought you like Bonds? Uh, no.
  12. 256 more! Hurry!
  13. QUOTE(Shadows @ Aug 4, 2007 -> 09:58 PM) I hope that is the case You're lucky you are an Ortonite!
  14. If Hensley is in the game and challenges Bonds again, he will break the record tonight.
  15. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Aug 4, 2007 -> 09:50 PM) Hah. Classic Bud Selig face there -- jaw open, mouth agape. Absolutely histerical... He looked kind of sad, didn't he?
  16. 755...sob
  17. QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Aug 4, 2007 -> 09:04 PM) LOL, you would think that would be his preference until he at least graduated. Especially at SIU Graduated in 2001.
  18. QUOTE(Shadows @ Aug 4, 2007 -> 08:30 PM) man, what happened to you.. you use to be cool I don't know. I guess I grew up. It sucks sometimes.
  19. Wow, the bottom of the 8th and top of the 9th in the Brewers/Phillies game was some of the most exciting baseball I have seen all year. Bottom of the 8th, Fielder hits a 2 run homer to put the Brewers up. Corey Hart robs Iguchi of a game tying homer. Rollins flies out to end it. GREAT game.
  20. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Aug 4, 2007 -> 08:03 PM) Egbert update: 2 IP, H, 3 K When Egbert comes up and if he pitches well, would it make sense to use the term "2 thumbs up"?
  21. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Aug 4, 2007 -> 07:47 PM) Alright, I just looked her up, and assuming I looked at pictures of the right girl, I have to say this. She's not gorgeous, but c'mon, you wouldn't stick it to that? If you're passing on a girl like that, you better be getting smoking girls left and right. I would pass on her. Girls don't have to be gorgeous for me to like them. Kimberly Stewart is dumb. I'm not attracted to dumb. I used to think your way a few years ago.
  22. QUOTE(sox4lifeinPA @ Aug 3, 2007 -> 09:06 AM) Rod Stewart's daughter can beat me up ANYTIME. Ew! She is nasty! Not even good looking! I expect more from you, PA! She looks like she got hit in the face.
  23. QUOTE(The Critic @ Aug 4, 2007 -> 10:02 AM) For all the fun we have with the Iron Sheik, he really seems like a damaged dude. It's a sad story that happens to manifest itself in some pretty funny ways. I have trouble feeling sorry for someone who snorted enough coke and did enough drugs to screw himself up for the rest of his life. I can't believe the guy is still alive if all the stories of his drug use are true.
  24. Per ESPN. Could be out more than 6 months. Yikes. Just said it was during offseason workout.
