The pitch that Crede swung and missed on, did it even make it to the plate before bouncing?

QUOTE(Steff @ Jul 27, 2005 -> 09:00 PM) I'd love to.. but during game threads is when I get my wywbrows plucked... one at a time with dull tweezers. Extra innings kids.. Rowand44 and I feel the same way about these threads. Like car crashes, you want to NOT look, you you just can't help it.

QUOTE(Steff @ Jul 27, 2005 -> 08:57 PM) Just toss away all the ones they won... makes sense. Good grief... I swear I'd hate to see if our record was flip flopped. Steff, you should come to game threads more often to read the "wisdoms" of fathom and soxfan1.

Marte fears lefties. It is almost humorous.

QUOTE(SoxPhan7 @ Jul 27, 2005 -> 08:49 PM) Didnt NIU almost lose to southern last year? Yep, Coach Kill went for the 2 point conversion and the win with a few secs left instead of the extra point and a tie and our (SIU) TE dropped a pass on his finger tips. QB under threw it a tad.

I thought throwing 4 straight fastballs to Sweeney would of worked.

QUOTE(CYGarland @ Jul 27, 2005 -> 07:39 PM) I would love to have heard that mullet wearing f**'s comments about the Sox now Steve Phillips has a mullet? I just hate when guys who have grey hair and they grow a grey goatee to try and look "in".

QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jul 27, 2005 -> 07:36 PM) Against the dbacks in mid june he was at the cell and I sat right next to him. Of course I didn't have the guts to say anything to him. Now that's a guy I would love to talk baseball with. I'm sure he would of been honored to talk with you.

Laguna Beach..
Real World was good when it was original, now it is just re-hashed in different cities. The last one I watched was Chicago for obvious reasons.

Laguna Beach..
I have trouble believing this show isn't scripted in some way. Just the way they have coverage while shooting and such. I think the kids are real, but someone is giving em lines and such. Can't stand it.

Believe I just heard that Timo, Harris, Ozuna, and Widger are in the line up. I was fine with it yesterday, but we have a friggin off day tomorrow. No reason the regular line up should not be in this afternoon! Maybe Widger for AJ, but that should be it.

GAME THREAD 7-26-2005 SOX vs ROYALS
QUOTE(mmmmmbeeer @ Jul 27, 2005 -> 03:33 AM) 162 games in 6 months, or 162 games in roughly 180 days. I guess you're right, Ripken's streak really wasn't very impressive. Come on, everyone should play 162 games a year!! I can only think of 2 players now that play everyday. Hideki Matsui and Tejada.
