Sucks Pods can't get on base. He would have 4 steals easily.

QUOTE(LowerCaseRepublican @ Jul 23, 2005 -> 01:04 AM) The more important question is why is Michael Bay still allowed to make films? Because "Pearl Harbor" was Oscar material.

WHy does the director go to that camera angle behind home plate during a pitch? Can't see anything that way. I'd like to complain that that Ball 4 to Millar should of been a strike but can't.

Does Willie ever hit balls on the ground or line drives? Always seems to fly out or pop out.

QUOTE(qwerty @ Jul 22, 2005 -> 08:47 PM) I believe there is a scene that she is in some underwear and she didn't like the look of them so she wanted to go nude but bay would not let her. I read about that. They made her keep the bra on cuz they wanted a PG-13 rating. You really don't see her from the neck down in that scene anyway.

Penguins got it. Like others, shocked it wansn't the Rangers for conspiracy sake. Why the need for a lottery? Why not go from the last season played standings?

Went and saw "The Island". I wasn't planning on it but saw some decent reviews so figured why not. Not bad, not great either. Summer popcorn movie. Typical stuff. BTW, for those of you who are blind, Scarlett Johannsen is unbelievably hot.

Blackhawks will draft #7.

After all the BS he has said, what would it be like for him to report to Eagles training camp? Worse than Ricky situation?

QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Jul 22, 2005 -> 04:17 AM) Chad Tracy. Now there's an option, for all of those who Mr. Overbay. Overbay would probably be available via trade, either now or in the off season. Brewers are probably going to go with Prince next year at 1B.

QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jul 22, 2005 -> 04:06 AM) Is the org actually throwing that around or is that just the people on the board, cause I know a lot of people on the board would like Dye at 1b and Anderson in RF. Personally I'll throw up if that happens. If the Sox go with that, they better find some offense elsewhere cause this offense will head into the crapper in a hurry. I dont' have a problem starting Anderson, but I wnat him to be eased in, which means you need to have some other guys that can hit and quite frankly, a lineup without Paulie is a heck of a lot worse. But if the Sox upgrade another area or two, than I'd be tempted and I do think Dye could be a pretty good 1st baseman. I think Dye said it awhile ago. He played 1B for Paulie once and said that he is getting close to the point in his career where he would have to move to 1B.

QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Jul 22, 2005 -> 03:59 AM) I told you we should have signed Guzman Please tell me your joking.

QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jul 22, 2005 -> 03:59 AM) I don't see many other options as good as Konerko on the open market, at least right now. Paulie is a good player, it just depends on what other teams offer him, imo. Heard there are talks about Dye moving to 1B at this point in his career. Not sure how legit they are though.

I keep dreaming that we could do a Uribe for Vizquel deal straigh up. Similar contracts.

Bruce Levine just hinted that KW is back talking to SF about Schmidt.

Kenny was with Mac, Jurko, and Harry for a segment. Didn't deny the fact that he may be working on a deal or deals lately. Nothing else major. Just some fluff Q's.

Is it easy for foreigners to get into England than it is US? I know little about politics.

I live 3 miles from Great America and didn't see or hear anything about that dude dying. Where did you get that article from? Anyway, I hate Great America. I worked there one summer during high school and they treat their employees like crap. Good eye candy though.

Getting tired? Every off season we have to deal his drama.

More rain on its way this afternoon. More than we got yesterday.

QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Jul 21, 2005 -> 04:29 AM) It's on every night at 9PM central --- Well not fridays, and I'm not sure on the weekend, but M-Th it's on at 9PM, then they do a short 'trifecta' at 11PM Sometimes I see it at 9pm, sometimes I don't. But games are still going at 9pm so I usually watched the 11pm version.

Sounded like he wants out of Washington. Reunite him with his brother!!!

Middle of the summer, pennant races heating up, trade deadline approaching, and we get 20 minutes of baseball tonight??? I love the NFL, but isn't it too early for NFL Live, not to mention taking time away from Baseball Tonight. This is garbage! And now they are giving Steven A. Smith his own show. Geez!

QUOTE(fathom @ Jul 21, 2005 -> 03:46 AM) Garcia has never been known as a fierce competitor. Never heard this before. Just wish he would be more prepared so we don't have to play from behind in the 1st inning.

QUOTE(ScottPodRulez22 @ Jul 21, 2005 -> 02:30 AM) Gooch has produced in the 2 hole all year long no need to change it. Agreed. But if Pods is on 2nd in the first inning and nobody out, no need to "try and move him over" everytime. Let Gooch try and get him in. If it is in the later innings and we need a run, than I would understand moving runners over. Let Gooch swing!
