QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jan 8, 2011 -> 03:30 PM) Pssh, there's like 3 things in this world I know well and basketball is one of them. Is drinking and BSing the other 2?

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jan 8, 2011 -> 09:28 AM) i love how Diamond Taylor became eligible, had a nice first game, then Lowery buried him on the bench for three straight games. cant wait til that thieving pos is gone This is my problem as well. Makes no sense. -
Season of the Witch getting 1 percent at rotten tomatoes. Don't think I have ever seen that.

God, I hate Cr8on. 2 garbage shots as shot clock expires in OT. SIU played good defense and than that. -
QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Jan 7, 2011 -> 08:43 PM) I miss Joakim Noah. Ugh. His scoring and our currently unknown shooting guard are needed. I totally miss Noah's energy At least Rose got 9 assists and 3 steals for that one guys fantasy team though.

Am I dumb for wanting Korver in in the 4th over Deng?

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jan 7, 2011 -> 08:02 PM) Can't use the trap game excuse either coming off a loss. This would just be a really bad L to be honest. I don't have the stats, but Philly hasn't been bad lately, especially at home. I gotta double check it. Either way, a game the Bulls should win. Philly been average all year when I look at it. Would suck to lose to them/

QUOTE (chw42 @ Jan 7, 2011 -> 07:51 PM) Looks like the Bulls are in a funk. Look tired. Another back to back but at least it is only the Celtics tomorrow....ugh

QUOTE (maggsmaggs @ Jan 6, 2011 -> 04:13 PM) To be he's actually not. He isn't overly athletic. He gets by on technical skills and smarts rather than athleticism. Most guys that are one-and-done players are really athletic. I think he won't be as immediate an impact freshman as people think. Remember, he is just a soph. He will dominate by the time he is a senior. -
What the hell are James Franco and Natalie Portman thinking?

QUOTE (maggsmaggs @ Jan 6, 2011 -> 02:33 PM) Sort of some inside info on Jabari. This is second hand from a person who spoke to Robert Smith (Simeon's coach). Jabari was the first sophomore Coach K has offered a scholarship to and Coach K told Jabari he would help make him a one-and-done player. Furthermore, Smith said that they like Illinois, but Duke is Duke. Nike is a client of the company I work for, so we do have contact with the Chicago HS B-Ball coaches. Take it for what it's worth though. Jabari is a one and done player no matter where he goes. He would be skipping college if it were allowed. -
QUOTE (thxfrthmmrs @ Jan 6, 2011 -> 04:35 AM) right after the knicks loss. i do not recall any really bad calls in that game. knicks beat them fair and square. we have different perspectives. that's all. I was pissed that the charge on Boozer that was called when Amare was clearly inside the circle and it wasn't even close.
-
QUOTE (thxfrthmmrs @ Jan 6, 2011 -> 02:22 AM) unlike you, i do not blame the refs. i blame the players, bad calls happen in every game to every team, players make plays that lead to refs making calls. blame the bulls' loss to the knicks on the refs? blame the refs when your team obviously got outplayed in the game? LMAO When did I blame the refs? I don't think Rose got fouled at the end of the game. It's just funny that Rose is having an awesome year and you wait for a little 3 game stretch where he isn't doing everything for once to come up to complain.
-
QUOTE (thxfrthmmrs @ Jan 5, 2011 -> 08:49 PM) rose in his last 3 games, 3 rebounds, 0 steals, 0 blocks. horrible. deng is a flat out choker, next time when the game is on the line, i much rather see scalabrine on the floor as to deng. LoL

QUOTE (Real @ Jan 5, 2011 -> 07:38 PM) Bulls look horrible defensively this quarter Is it just me or have the Bulls had a lot of back to back games the past month? If it makes us more rested come April, I guess I am ok with it.

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jan 5, 2011 -> 03:54 PM) This is the one thing I've always completely disagreed with you two about, I can't stand their show. I stopped listening to sports talk about 2 years ago but when I do, it's usually B&B. I see both sides of the spectrum. I can't stand Terry. Every year around the same time he goes through some contract dispute which he probably doesn't really deserve to win because in the end, what does he add to the show besides childish noises? I never really hear him express any type of opinion. I think Dan is smart but severly pompous and I have heard it from people who would know. I think he could go an educated sports talk show or any talk show with anyone. Doesn't need Boers anymore IMO.

QUOTE (GoodAsGould @ Jan 4, 2011 -> 04:59 PM) I think a lot of Michigan fans actually didn't like the Rich Rodriguez hiring. I don't think anyone thought it would be this bad under him, but I know a good amount of people didn't care for Rodriguez. As far as Michigan fans go, I only like them because they were always on tv moreso than the Illini and Notre Dame seemed too Cubby/Yankee like for me to follow them when I was young. I didn't hate the hiring but was skeptical about changing the entire offensive philosophy and as good as the offense became under him, the defense was worse than Carr's last year. I was fine with whatever direction Michigan went in. -
Hey Ryan Reynolds, Scarlett Johanson to Sandra Bullock is a pretty big step down. Hope you didnt pull a hammy. P.S. It's not 1995

With no real competition for him, unless the Angels were there, why so much for so long for Beltre?

QUOTE (Cali @ Jan 4, 2011 -> 12:57 PM) That HIMYM ending was so out of nowhere, It was very much like a vintage early Scrubs. The numbers thing was a tad distracting, btu I enjoyed it. Maybe didn't need to put both the Numbers AND that ending in the same episode, but hey.... Also, are people watching shows on MTV ironically, like because they are train wrecks? Or do you actually enjoy them, on the same level you would enjoy a well acted, WRITTEN comedy or drama? Cause unless you're under the age of 16, or have some weird (and awesome) satellite dish that picks up the MTV feed from 1993 there's no reason to watch that network. I don't watch those Teen pregnant shows or anything. I will watch at least the first 3 weeks of every Real World season to see if I like it and watch the Challenge seasons. It's not like I take it as serious entertainment. I watch so may well written dramas and sitcoms that I enjoy mindless fun once a week.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jan 4, 2011 -> 10:19 AM) The Challenge is so lame. Enjoy hell, you bastard!
