I'm going with Texas in 6. They just seem to have that mojo where it doesn't matter who is on the mound against them.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Oct 22, 2010 -> 04:31 PM) It's pretty obvious. And man, the dude just wants to blow LBJ. I'm listening to the podcast right now. Glad I am not the only one who had that opinion. I just couldn't keep listening to him.

Go ahead and mock me while I geek out.

Anyone else listen to the new Simmons podcast with Mark Jackson? I had to stop listening because the crap Jackson was spewing was killing me. Saying Jordan is full of it that he wouldn't colaborate with other superstars if given the chance because he already had one in Pippen...who was home grown, Mark. Simmons brought up the fact that Steve Kerr said that during the 72 win season, there were 8 games where MJ carried the team when they had back to backs or 4 games in 6 days and Jackson said that wasn't true because other guys were doing things. Sorry, Mark. I'll take the word of the guy that was on the team. Just other stuff about how he doesn't blame Lebron and it won't diminish his legacy at all if they win a title. Only thing I agreed with is when he said the Heat won't win 72 games or more.

QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Oct 22, 2010 -> 07:49 AM) I thought it was fair. The League was great last night though. And again, I thought Outsourced was quite funny. Someone should actually invent a Bathroom Cubby.

QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Oct 17, 2010 -> 08:52 PM) Got outta work late, totally forgot about the draft... On the other hand, my team's not too shabby. It's ok. We were more upset that J4L missed it. Ha

QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Oct 21, 2010 -> 08:53 AM) My halloween costume involves me shaving my head (and I mean with a razor). I am quite certain I will look bad, but hey, it will grow back. That first week is going to be tough, then it should look normal again. When I was at SIU, there were no good barbers so I shaved my head for the first time. Let's just say I wore a hat for the next two weeks most of the time.

As much as I love this show, I think they should set an end date, a la LOST, so there is a direction. I don't want it to keep treading and getting bad.

What doesn't South Park take jabs at? Sometimes it is funny but sometimes it is making fun just for the sake of making fun and got old to me.

QUOTE (3E8 @ Oct 20, 2010 -> 05:02 PM) Ok, have you heard anything about it? 86% on RT, 7.8 on IMDb Just the basic "Man stuck in a buried coffin in the middle of the desert."

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Oct 20, 2010 -> 03:38 PM) I've heard nothing good about that film. It was super intense. Had to remind myself to breath a couple of times. I'd be interested to hear what criticisms people have of it. Very cool things with lighting. Odd casting Ryan Reynolds but he was very good.

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Oct 20, 2010 -> 11:47 AM) Where is that playing? Has it seen a wide release yet? Not wide yet. Playing in Round Lake this week.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Oct 20, 2010 -> 09:38 AM) I can't believe I still watch Weeds. That show is just awful right now. I posted the same thing after last weeks episode. Nothing is even happening. I hope Shane gets killed. Nancy is the worst mother of all time. I hope that was the writers intention because I don't even find her attractive anymore because of it.

Gonna go see "Buried" this afternoon. Got a feeling I am going to be very uncomfortable watching it.

Listening to the new Simmons podcast and he mentioned stories out of Philly about Evan Turner not fitting in and being a headcase already. Talking bust already. Turner may not produce right away but I think eventually he will adapt, like college and be good. I saw his attitude in high school and thought he grew out of it last year but maybe not.

Phillies in trouble if the actually pitch Joe Blanton in Game 4.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Oct 19, 2010 -> 02:45 PM) Is Terriers a Shawn Ryan show? Yes. Was interesting to hear him talk about where they are with teh show and its future. For people you like the show but don't want to listen he said the DVR totals for Terriers jump the show up 50% which is huge.

With my new Blu Ray player, I can watch things with my Netflix account. Was bored one afternoon and was scanning things and I started watching 30 Rock Season 1. I think it's pretty funny.

For Kalapse and anyone, like me, who loves Terriers or The Shield, Alan Sepinwall and Dan Feinberg from hitfix.com have a great podcast with producer Shawn Ryan about his shows. Good listen.

QUOTE (nitetrain8601 @ Oct 18, 2010 -> 06:57 PM) It's old though. I remember when the trilogy was first released on DVD I watched all the special features(only time I've ever done that for any movie). Stoltz was originally in it, but they just weren't feeling his performance at all. They got Michael J Fox to do it even though he was working on several other projects at the time. He was working something like 20 our of 24 hours in the day or something crazy like that. BTW, the hoverboard was real. Last, but not least, the DeLorean being a time machine was not the original plan. First they were going to have a nuclear site. All in all, there was a bunch of fun facts on those DVD's. The hoverboard was NOT real, but you may of been sarcastic. They also thought about using a refridgerator but Speilberg didn't want kids mimicing the movie and getting stuck in em. And again, can't wait for the Blu Ray!!!
