  1. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jul 2, 2010 -> 06:12 PM) Chad Ford is now reporting Wade is close to signing with Chicago. Trying to find the article. We need an ejaculation smiley...that is SFW, of course.

QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Jul 2, 2010 -> 05:20 PM) I'm man enough to admit that not only did i love Toy Story 3 but that i got choked up at the end. I'm one of the people who grew up at a pretty consistent pace with the franchise so i imagine that helped. Thought it was great as well.
  3. LOL. Kaplan just tweeting the news of Wade meeting with Bulls again? Welcome to 1 hour ago, Kap.

QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Jul 2, 2010 -> 04:13 PM) That's the only one, or the last one? I liked The Sixth Sense and Signs, and Unbreakable was pretty good. Only. Hated Sixth Sense and Signs bored the hell outta me.
  5. QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Jul 2, 2010 -> 04:58 PM) I can't tell you how dissapointed i am that Gay didn't go to Wolves. I really thought they'd have something good going with some Gay-Johnson-Love-Sessions. POTY
  6. QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 2, 2010 -> 04:06 PM) I hate Boozer's game, so hopefully he's not the big acquisition. I'm with you.
  7. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Jul 2, 2010 -> 03:35 PM) So when to the Ricketts tell Hendry to start selling off pieces? And are there any we'd want? They aren't trading him, but I would take that Cashner kid in a second.
  8. Can't remember the last time I have seen such an anemic offense.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jul 2, 2010 -> 11:20 AM) Pretty much. His movies get progressively worse. The only movie M. Knight has made that I enjoyed was "Unbreakable".

Borrowing my buddy's two kids this afternoon so I have an excuse to go see Toy Story 3. So sue me.
  11. Why is TNA shooting their backstage stuff on digital tape? Makes it look even more staged.
  12. They are rarely using Velvet these days. She was on last week but before that she wasn't on for 3 weeks and nothing again this week. Lame
  13. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jul 1, 2010 -> 09:57 PM) If they didn't have him and only had Rolen this year, they wouldn't be in the same position anyway. Either way, I agree on your second point. Votto has been getting better and better every year and is finally starting to get his due, albeit not as much as he deserves. We could go back and forth on it, but probably the main reason they are where they are is guys like Leake and Cueto. Ha
  14. QUOTE (Kalapse @ Jul 1, 2010 -> 07:33 PM) Hehe, clutch. That's funny. Scott Rolen gets an edge because he's more "clutch" than Votto and Pujols. A "down" month for Albert Pujols is a .300 AVG, .940 OPS and .390 wOBA. Yeah, cuz I was disputing Albert's greatness. Right. There has been times where Albert hasn't homered in 20 days or so and HRs are obviously what makes him special. Some of it is probably credited to the inconsistent Holliday behind him. I would go with Rolen or Votto over him now, because the Reds are in first. That may not last, but I don't think a guy can be an MVP unless his team wins the division or at least makes the playoffs.
  15. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jul 1, 2010 -> 07:54 PM) Votto has more runs, hits, HRs, RBIs, SBs, higher BA, OBP, OPS. Rolen has more doubles & his slugging % is about six points higher. Votto's WAR is 2.9, Rolen's is 2.2. I don't doubt Rolen has been a huge key to their success and he's great story, but where the f*** would they be without Votto? Where have they been the last few years with him? Votto needed a season like this for Cincy to finally get national recognition. Well deserved.
  16. Didn't know if it was unrelated to his bumps or not. Glad it is not, but if God forbid something happens, the media will be all over it. He wrestled with his son at FCW a few weeks ago and still had it.
  17. Is it possible to combine the two threads, Lebron/NBA, into one or lock one and rename it? I get confused as to which thread I post in.
  18. QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Jul 1, 2010 -> 07:10 PM) Over Wright, Votto & Pujols? Albert has gone through some tough stretches this year. Rolen has been awesome and clutch. How often are the Reds in this position in July? They would be nowhere without him. He's finally healthy.

  20. Scott Rolen is my leader for NL MVP
  21. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jul 1, 2010 -> 10:04 AM) Am I crazy when I say Mr. Vladimir Guerrero is a legitimate MVP candidate? The numbers are eye-popping: .339/18/68/.383/.580/.962. Not bad for 5.5 million. And has the Ranger front office done a hell of a job putting together that team or what? A combination of excellent scouting/drafting and two amazingly awesome trades (Hamilton for Volquez/Andrus, Feliz for Tex). You look at their roster and other than Michael Young, who's having a great year, there isn't one bad contract on that team. Texas is set up to own that division for a while. They still can't put together a pitching staff. I know Colby Lewis is over achieving but Feldman isn't going to repeat, or come close to what he did last year. Who the hell else is starting for them? I understand it is difficult to recruit pitcher to pitch in Arlington for half the season though.
  22. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 30, 2010 -> 10:08 PM) Watch Cleveland do everything in their power to trade for Chris Paul They have nothing NO would want...I assume.
  23. Lebron staying in Cleveland would be a buzzkill.
