QUOTE (TitoMB345 @ Jul 10, 2009 -> 06:31 PM) Yeah, I really would be upset if we traded Alexei in a trade for the Doc. I would drive him to Toronto.

I have admitted on here that I am a fan of the College Softball World Series. I can watch women's college basketball if it is two good teams playing each other, but that seems rare.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jul 9, 2009 -> 12:16 PM) The Williams Twins suspensions have been blocked for now Well, the fatboys effectively undermined the NFL's authority. The floodgates have been opened That judge is abusing his power, IMO. And for the wrong reasong. He has no business being involved in this.

QUOTE (PlaySumFnJurny @ Jul 10, 2009 -> 08:56 AM) Ron Zook hauls in a big catch for Illinois. http://yourseason.suntimes.com/football/16...llinois.article Saw the kid play last year. He is a freak athlete and has a college football body already. That is a nice pick. -
QUOTE (JPN366 @ Jul 10, 2009 -> 07:37 AM) Well, everybody's entitled to their opinion but I would gladly have Michelle sit in my lap, gaze into my eyes and ask me to wash her car. Sounds exciting.

QUOTE (knightni @ Jul 4, 2009 -> 07:18 PM) How many times did you Blockbuster guys get the porn question? It was always funny when customers came up and asked me like it was no big deal. They don't care.

QUOTE (lostfan @ Jul 4, 2009 -> 06:10 PM) lol, I'd give it to them the first time if they were nice to me but I'd write a note on their account saying something to the effect "I let this guy get over once, don't give this motherf***er s*** if they try to pull it again" I would love how people thought I was looking so closely after the store's bottom line though. I was like dude I make barely 6 bucks an hour, do you think I honestly give a f*** about your $3.99? If someone was super nice and understanding, I'd give them free rentals without them knowing. I had the coupon code memorized and would just type it in. As much as most customers were douches, I did work with a lot of cool people and we hung out on nights and weekends and stuff. One girl had a pool and we were there all the time. I worked with quite a few hotties who looked good in bikinis.

QUOTE (lostfan @ Jun 22, 2009 -> 04:22 PM) I used to work at Blockbuster, if I recall, we had 4 registers and a queue, which is probably like how most Blockbuster stores are set up. Unless it's Friday or Saturday night they're not all open at any given time, though. There was a 5th computer off to the side that was used specifically to register new memberships to keep the line moving, there was never cash in the drawer and it was obvious it was separate from the other registers. Every week or so someone would come up to me while I was entering a new customer into the system and they'd ask "Is this register open?" while there was a line. Because I'm not an asshole at work I'd always say no, but I really wanted to say "YES!!! CONGRATULATIONS, YOU FIGURED OUT THE SECRET SHORTCUT! YOU BEAT THE SYSTEM! GOOD JOB DUMBASS!" YES! That would always happen! Same thing with the coupon lady you mentioned. When I was working there, was when they started giving out free rentals for new releases if they weren't in when you wanted it. Dumb. I would always have people come up to check out and be like "Air Force One isn't in, can I get a coupon?" So our protocol was to check the drop box to see if one was returned. Plenty of times, one would be so I would get it, check it in, and tell the customer we have it. Than they would be like, "But I don't want it now. I have what I want." Than I would be like, "Ok." and not give them the pass, than they would ask where the pass is and I woudl explain that the movie was in so I can't give you the free rental. Than they would complain and I would have to give them the pass anyway. As my tenure wound down there in college, I just started telling them the pass was in the bag, when in fact, I didn't give em one.

QUOTE (SHIPPS @ Jul 4, 2009 -> 11:01 AM) I was driving to Orland mall yesterday and I seen a huge ass field on LaGrange rd that had people flying those remote controlled airplanes and helicopters....I wanna get one of those...that is flying a kite x 100. But a kite is cool too. My old neightbor used to collect and build model airplanes and would fly them all the time in our backyards. They are sweet.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jul 4, 2009 -> 09:55 AM) I don't think the Bulls can trade a guard right now, they have no depth left. Flame away, but I'd sigh AI for a year if he is willing. Otherwise, in a year, we are probably looking at a lottery pick plus/hopefully Wade and Bosh. Either/or
