QUOTE (kyyle23 @ May 20, 2009 -> 11:36 AM) Yeah I am reading some bleh reviews for T-Salvation, not BAD,but certainly not good. It doesnt surprise me, this is McG When I saw he was directing, it pissed me off. Still gonna see it, but not expecting it to be good.
  2. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 19, 2009 -> 09:41 PM) I liked the show early on, but after a while, what is left with the original premise? I mean how many wrongs can one person right? It got dull. I think when it stuck to the list, the show was top notch. It's the episodes that totally strayed away from it that were its downfall.
  3. I can't figure out Getz. He has a good eye, doesn't swing at bad pitches, but can't get any hits.

QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ May 19, 2009 -> 04:01 PM) It doesn't matter, they have to live with it. They clearly established Walt as a huge force in season 1, anything else then Walt rejoining the cast as a regular would be a gigantic failing on the part of the writers. I kinda agree, but they may have wrapped up Walt in the Locke episode when he said he didnt want Walt to go back cuz he had been through enough. Who knows.
  5. Got a speeding ticket today for the first time in my life. I almost want to go to court to dispute but am just gonna pay it. Kinda BS. 65 in a 55 on a highway with about 10 other cars around me. I was in the right lane behind another driver and actually had gotten passed myself, 5 seconds earlier. Had no clue how they picked me out since I was just within the traffic at the time. Whatever.
  6. What's going on? Gameday has most of Richards pitches in the box but are called balls.
  7. QUOTE (Flash Tizzle @ May 17, 2009 -> 11:47 PM) Dane Cook's latest Comedy Central special was about what'd you expect from him, pure s*** -- except for far fewer animated body moments and several unexpected references to his deceased parents. If this man has a career ten years from now I'd be surprised. It'd only be to the people currently listening to him, too; not the next generation of teens/young adults. How does he have a career now?
  8. How does Johnny Damon have 10 HRs this year? He is hitting a lot of bombs as well.
  9. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ May 17, 2009 -> 12:12 PM) Gonnae be watching the game today with my best buddy thats a huge Wings fan. Find a new best buddy. 1-0 Hawks.
  10. I don't know what it is like in practice, before the game, or after, but during the game Walker is sitting there on the bench with his hands in his pockets. When I watch otehr games, hitting coaches are always talking to players, or sometimes in teh clubhouse working with guys and watching tape during the game. It may be him or may not be him, someone is gotta be the fall guy and it is never the players.
  11. Guess we won't be giving extension to pitchers after 1 good year. Last year was such a fluke for Gavin.
  12. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ May 16, 2009 -> 09:20 PM) I was right. The more I listen to the new Green Day the more I adore it. I'm with you. I'm digging it big time.
  13. QUOTE (greasywheels121 @ May 16, 2009 -> 05:38 PM) Not better than Chubbs shot from the top of the key.
  14. QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ May 16, 2009 -> 05:10 PM) The TV guys are even worse. Michael Kay=The Biggest blowhard on the planet. Michael Kay doesn't bother me but the way ESPN treats him, thinking he is some great broadcaster bothers me. Like no matter if you are good, bad, or in between, as long as you are a Yankees broadcaster, you are great. They need to keep him off Sports Reporters.
  15. Was listening to the Yankees radio broadcast at work today, holy cow do they suck. They make Ed farmer sound exciting.

QUOTE (kev211 @ May 15, 2009 -> 11:35 PM) I think it will be funny if they end up starting the season with them landing in LA, and Walt grew 1 foot during the flight. And has a deep voice.

QUOTE (kev211 @ May 15, 2009 -> 11:06 PM) Don't worry it was an awesome part. I think it is because I had a dog as a kid that looked exactly like Vincent.
  18. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ May 15, 2009 -> 09:35 PM) Scrubs renewed. I really wish they would have just gone out with that perfect finale. http://www.thrfeed.com/2009/05/scrubs-renewed.html Agreed. With Braff signing a 6 episode deal, it makes the finale less dynamic, IMO. We'll see how they handle it. I was suspicious of how they would handle Kelso last season but loved his role.

QUOTE (shipps @ May 15, 2009 -> 05:26 PM) This f***ing sucks, I have to go see Soloist for the SECOND time because I promised my friend I would go see it with her but I seen it a couple weeks ago and I cant tell her that. Now I have to go watch this thing acting like I never seen it. I know you guys have had to do this more than a few times. PROGNOSIS NEGATIIIIIIVE!
  20. When is the stealing signs excuse gonna come from Hawk?
  21. QUOTE (fathom @ May 15, 2009 -> 06:56 PM) It will be interesting to see if Walker is with the Sox after this series. I have a feeling he'll be the fall guy. This team is just awful. I've never seen a team get fewer hits during the first few innings of a game than this team has. They definitely don't come out as intense and focused as they should. I used to be eager everyday to watch the Sox, but this season, it's just not there. We're not very fun to watch at all in my opinion. I do like watching Buehrle and Danks pitch though.

    LOST!!!!

P.S. This is lame, but one of my favorite moments of the finale is Vincent running out of the jungle.
  23. Downloading Green Day on iTunes now.
