  1. If he gets through 1.1 without giving up a run, he better not come out for the 6th.
  2. I bet Eloy's not in such bad shape as it seems. For all we know they could have been planning to take him out if he got on base. More worried about Crochet...was hoping for blister.
  3. Theoretically...just can't imagine it goes that perfectly.
  4. My goodness. Cease has to pitch in this game, right? I mean, six more innings...
  5. Are the players contractually obligated to participate in these interviews? I imagine most (TA excluded) would not want to.
  6. Yes! Eloy playing led to a run. Now heal that foot!
  7. Doooooo not waste Eloy coming out.
  8. Not textbook infielding there, but it got the job done.
  9. Guys...there's no way I can watch this game for the 4+ hours it's going to take.
  10. Ouch...great to get the lead, but five stranded through 2.
  11. announcers say they held him up. Couldn't see it in the shots.
  12. Was he held up...? I thought for sure he had time to get home.
  13. If TA can get to 2-1, send Madrigal.
  14. Crochet! I guarantee no team has ever pitched two rookies in the first inning of a playoff game and given up zero runs in the inning.
  15. Two rookies in the first inning of a win or go home game, one who never threw a pitch in the minors. Wow. I sure hope this works out.
  16. Alright alright...one more and he may have done his job.
  17. Please get them both in!
  18. I agree, this makes the most sense. Funny thing is, I would have no problem if baseball just came out and said they were pushing the game back a day to spread them out more and allow more people to see more games. It's crazy that they tried to pack up to 24 playoff games in four days followed by three straight off days to begin with.
  19. That was quite a curveball to strike out Moncada. Fortunately, I don’t think it would be as effective against righties.
