  1. I had extremely low expectations for the White Sox after October 29, 2020, a date which will live in infamy.

Tony has been even worse than what I expected and feared, and the sad thing is, I expect him to be here long after this and even next season.

Anyone else laugh when Tony complains about family not communicating?

Not to mention his other daughter (Bianca) and current wife (Elaine) ditching his racist, ageist animal charity that's being sued for discrimination.

My high school was in the final 4 and projected to win in 2020. We have a huge trophy in our case with State Champion engraved on the side.

Pretty sure any of us can get hired as next Sox GM if we tell Jerry we field a $40M annual payroll, purchase and present a "piece of metal" to fans each year and pocket the difference. Can even engrave the infamous Einhorn E on the trophy, and capture the 1983 logo.

Looking back at Keuchel’s DFA now, it feels weird that there was that one little blip of accountability.

Would speculate Tony not liking him played a big role as well. Ditto Madrigal, Mercedes and a few other rookies.

If Tony likes you, you're in like Lynn (or Leury, Liam, Lamb, etc.).

  7. My last shot at salvaging the season. Time to start a four game winning streak before the Houston series.

    Baseball Prospectus Preview:

CHW (RHP Dylan Cease) @ KC (RHP Zack Greinke), 2:10 pm ET
Greinke isn’t who he used to be on the mound, but Cease has been phenomenal, and is basically why the White Sox still have as much of a chance for October baseball as they do: he’s 12-4 thanks to a 1.98 ERA and what you could safely call dominance, while the White Sox are 17-5 overall in his 22 starts. Considering they’re one game over .500 and 2 ½ back in the AL Central even with that Cease-centric contribution, well, you do the math there.

    6 against Cleveland

    6 against the Twins…

    Put up or shut up.

In reality, fans need to add an additional game back to the current standings. The Sox currently need to finish 1 ahead of both teams, unless they somehow overcome their current series deficit with both teams.

5-8 vs. Cleveland YTD. 3 Home & 3 Road Games Remain. Sox need to go 5-1 to win the tie-breaker.

4-6 vs. Minnesota YTD. 6 Home & 3 Road Games Remain. Sox need to go 6-3 to win the tie-breaker.

Also, I adjusted your post above, as they have nine games remaining against Minnesota.
