Where do you find the time?

Doesn't take long, just search / cut and past listening to games. Will have less time in the Summer when I prefer to walk and listen to games assuming it's not raining or over 90 F.

    No.

Good start. Make like 15 more like that and he'll get a decent return in July.

He's likely the only decent pitcher behind however Crochet is able to pitch this year.

Really makes no sense that they don't pick up a Rich Hill or Cueto just to get them through innings without having to burn up prospects prematurely.

not quite sure why fedde was still out there but that'd require paying attention to the game

I hear you, but there is not much in the bullpen and rain is the lone chance at an off day. Used a lot of guys yesterday, and Atlanta is fixin' to open a can of whup ass on the Sox.

If the Sox are scoring 1 or 2, it's not going to matter.

How in the world was this guy someone they thought they had to trade one of their best prospects for?

Would say a random poster on Soxtalk have better baseball instincts and grasp of players than the past two GMs.

I had optimism Getz could be salvagable, and I guess there is still time, but being better than Hahn who was literally a 0 of 100 in terms of job ability does not make Getz acceptable.

And another home run by a Tigers catcher.

I've lived in KC area a long time after growing up in Chicago, so I must say I'm not a fan of relish on a hot dog, i do like chopped onions on a hot dog; I do like mustard on a hot dog, but I must confess ketchup mixes pretty well with the mustard on a hot dog. no pickles either. So I want hot dog with mustard, ketchup, onion and tomatoes are OK on there. No peppers. I hate to say it but a traditional chicago dog does not suit me. I don't like those chicago hot dog buns either with the black specs on them, i assume that's pepper.

To each their own regarding hot dogs condiments, but the hot dog buns you don’t like contain poppy seeds, not pepper.

  7. Can’t image what life choices and levels of wickedness brings someone to the point of passion defending racist sports logos, bragging about celebrating the deaths of multiple people, and proudly calling out future grave dancing targets.

And of course the handful of usual suspects chiming in and “liking” these types of posts.

This is how you decided to spend Good Friday and the Easter weekend. You need to lay off overindulging bourbon, perform self reflection, work on trying to become a better person.

I maintain that the Sox should have traded Vaughn for Eder instead of Burger.

No way Miami gives up Eder for Vaughn. Soler is better at DH, perhaps Vaughn might of been an upgrade over Gurriel, but you wouldn't / won't get a top prospect for him. The best offer for Vaughn I've seen is for a 1.0 bWAR total SP over two seasons (Frankie Montas paid  $12.525M the past two seasons, $14M this season plus a $2M buyout due for 2025).

Okay? I'm looking at the box score. Please explain this stat to me. Leone gives up the two earned runs to tie the game in a 3rd of an inning, but he gets a hold. But Hill gets the blown save. How does that work? It was Leone's man who scored the tying run. Hill is not charged with the run; how does he get the blown save. It's right there on MLB.com box score.

Hill gets a blown save because he allowed the tying inherited runner to score.

If you have the ability,  go back and listen to how much dead air there is in today's broadcast.  That space is what the color guy is supposed to fill.  Instead we get

"Steve, you were a minimum 4 chains guy when you played, right?"

    "Depends"

This is was Jason was always amusing himself with goofy jokes, because the other guy in the booth isn't doing his job.

    Stone is Jerry's guy.
