  1. Forth lead blown in seven. Are they allowed to wake him if he’s sleeping, or would it be too intrusive to wake “a legit hall of famer and person”? We all booed La Russa his last few years in Chicago, nice to see people don’t change. Perhaps he can give Madrigal and others some syringes, seemed to work in Oakland and Saint Louis.
  2. All these commercials with Farmer on radio and TV. Hope they can put a few together for Eloy later this month.
  3. Eaton, check yourself, before you wreck yourself.
  4. Garcia should be OF only with Mendick up. It’s why I wanted Mendick up Monday, though vs. Seattle and LHP, it didn’t really matter.
  5. Has two hard hit balls today, been plying far better than I expected to start the year. If he plays like this and can stay on the field for 100+ games, can’t expect more at this point of his career.
  6. I’d take either from Madrigal.
  7. This. Will take the gift, but that was a crazy infield formation with two outs and bases loaded.
  8. Time to take advantage Jose!
  9. One is a backup player. The other, a backup player.
  10. Today is the right day. Goose Island Next Coast.
  11. Craig Counsel has Hader in in a tied game against the heart of the order, not waiting for a save.
  12. It’s a shame he is dead, Tony lost the chance to bring back another former player.
  13. Nice to see the Sox aren’t the only team playing dumb baseball. Time to take advantage.
  14. Does Grandal get a +0.1 fWAR for catchers interference?
  15. He pissed all the money away on Grandal, Keuchel, Parrot, Hendriks and Eaton. If you are a mid level payroll team, you can't build a roster like this.
  16. Hamilton and Madrigal should drop and do pushups every time they hit a flyball.
  17. Marz Brewing has finally reopened for outdoor patio service (4-10). Whiner Brewery is open for indoor service (4-11). Maria’s on 31st has reopened for indoor and outdoor service. Sadly Sklylark remains COVID closed, but is working toward a reopening soon. That’s all I got for the places I consider pre / post game. Most regular bars should be open at this point with a food license.
  18. Their roof doesn’t “close”. It gets close, covers the park from rain, but does not completely close like Milwaukee or other retractable roofs. Seattle is a mild climate, so there aren’t many times where heat and or air conditioning would be preferred in a ballgame. Last night was an exception to the rule.
  19. Sadly, that’s an everyday lineup for many teams these days.
  20. Hope they can take their first this season against a RHP. Had to laugh when I came across the fact Twitter unverified Steve Stone. https://mobile.twitter.com/ChiSoxFanDave/status/137938711661924352

  22. Tony said Yermin is sitting per Connor McKnight on the radio postgame show.
  23. Houston reclaimed both the Division and League lead with their win over Anaheim. They get a day off before facing Oakland on Thursday. Kansas City claimed their first division lead since the start of 2019. They finish their two game series with Cleveland today, before traveling to Chicago. Philadelphia relinquished their League lead to Los Angeles, but remain in first in the NL East. Cincinnati claimed their first Division lead since May of 2017. Three currently are tied at 3-2 atop the AL East. Division Lead - The last time each team has led their Division (ties don’t count).
