I don’t think it’s Tony’s “reigning” them in that’s helping. We are just lucky to have some outstanding leaders on this team who don’t like losing. Even Billy Hamilton said TA every day every AB is in his ear saying, we can’t lose, and instilling him with confidence.

I mean seriously though. Sox brought in Yermin to pitch in a 10-4 game. He walked Franchy Cordero to lead off the inning, and then Cordero promptly took second base (defensive indifference). I mean that’s gotta be in the “unwritten rules” somewhere. Since TLR wants to to be a stickler.

Even going back to the Red Sox series when we had Mendick and Yermin pitch. The Red Sox were TEEING off on us. How come TLR didn’t have anything to say about that back then?!

Another vet arm to keep an eye on would be Daniel Hudson. Nats have been scuffling and if that trend continues we could bring the old Sox arm back.

Remember when the NFL penalized players for celebrating TDs? They were called the No Fun League. Now look, whole teams celebrate TDs and enjoy the fact that they did WELL at their job.
