  1. Hey you are not missing much on this end. Gordo verbal diahrrea is hard to smell too. You also missing another tedious Sox Math.
  2. Maybe he should be moved down in the lineup. He is a rally killer now.
  3. Same as on last Friday’s game, TLRshouldhave been told to warm up both a lefty and a righty in the disastrous 8 th inning, when he brought in the lefty Banks to face two right handed sluggers. TLR is averse to having two relievers up at the same time, as well as to pinch hitters.
  4. He must be a 100% TLR yes man, afraid to question or challenge him. He also has to go.
  5. TLR probably decided that Moncada was out the whole game, same as NBA’s DNP (did not play) coaches decision. No sense of urgency again.
  6. Too many 3 ball counts and then challenging a slugger.
  7. Sox generally do not do well against soft tossing, crafty lefties.
  8. The excuse in the past is that Abreu is not effective in cold weather and we have to wait till the weather warms up. Let’s see if that is the case this season or is he washed up.
  9. It is frustrating walking the bottom part of the lineup. However, the Yankees are patient hitters contrary to the Sox. It is also bad that the 3 runs were scored after 2 outs.
  10. I am only complaining about Sunday lineups with their heavy AAA tilt. Why not rest Moncada against KC instead? This game is against the Yankees to even the series, and we need all the guns in the game today.
  11. The Yankees don’t have TLR and we do.
  12. Should have invested in a quality catcher instead of another reliever.
  13. Agree. We need to keep Saturday’s momentum going. Why not rest Leury or Harrison instead? The Yankees are not resting anybody. Hate TLR Sunday lineups.
  14. You are right. Abreu is a double play machine.
  15. Whatever he had to eat and drink before the game, has to be preserved/ bottled for next time.
  16. Joe Kelly has been a bummer. Almost cost us 2 games to the Yankees all by himself.
  17. Yes, we are now the Mendoza Line Sox.
  18. I think it’s more a combination of hubris and incompetence in the FO than not being serious about winning. Trading for Kimbrel last season when we needed a RF instead of a closer was sheer incompetence. Atlanta traded for 3 outfielders and won the World Series. We keep bringing in relievers and leave the big hole in everyday position players at 2B and RF. Where we need the rebuild is with the FO and the field manager TLR.
  19. Sousa has looked much better than Banks. It’s time to bring Sousa ahead of Banks in game situations against lefties. No more Banks pitching to right handed sluggers please.
  20. They are also obsessed about piling relievers instead of outfielders and catchers.
  21. Is this the game that TLR saved our best relievers last night for? We had a chance to win late last night but we got Banks in again instead of Graveman or Hendriks or Ruiz. Tonight’ we have no chance against Cole.
