Another big blown lead of 5-0. Sousa once again coming in a close game and failing.

Sousa in again in a close game, doomed the Sox again, combined with Leury poor defense. TLR should be toast but as usual JR will disconnect the toaster and save his ass.

TLR is the best player in the Twins lineup.

TLR 2022 Thread
He is obsessed with platoon/matchups, and doubles down on his mistakes, which BTW are many. One of the mistakes that led to the Trea IBB was having Sousa in the game in the first place. A guy with 8 ERA against the heart of the Dodgers lineup in a close game late is not a winning move.

6/10 White Sox vs Texas Rangers, 7:10
Anyone of the mentioned is better than TLR. Unquestionably, TLR is the worst manager in MLB today, and the laughingstock of the baseball world after being exposed in the Dodgers series.

Sousa is the Leury of our pitchers.

Girardi, Maddon gone, now TLR who has done a worse job, should follow out the door and join the trifecta..

Even if Trea hits a homer (very unlikely on a 1-2 count), it was only 2 runs. You walk him and Muncy hits a homer is 3 runs…..

How dare they question a HOF manager? What a jerk!

Sousa should not have been in this close game against the Dodgers middle of the line up in the first place.

And most fans too. We don’t hear much from TLR apologists anymore. It is hard to justify his insane moves nowadays.

The bottom of the 9 th proved that we need to keep games close. The Sousa 4 earned runs turned out to be the difference. TLR never goes all out to keep games close, not using our better resources.

Don’t forget the Sousa four earned runs.

Is Miguel Cairo alive? What does he do?

Batting averages with 2 strikes are substantially lower than in other counts.

Can we can JR?

You got a point.

Maybe we need to boycott attendance to the games if TLR is still around and put a hole in JR’s pocket.

It’s a pity. This was a winnable game. A turning point was walking Lux on a 3-2 breaking pitch in the dirt. You need to blow him away with a fast ball.

Because TLR is incompetent, and once he falls behind in the score, he doesn’t go all out to get back in the game, and brings in guys likeSousa with an ERA of over 8. I would think that TLR is one of the very fewest if any that would give an intentional walk to a guy with 2 strikes in the count. TLR has to be removed now. He is the laughingstock of MLB and has been exposed this week against the Dodgers.

What a difference a day makes. If Mendick would had been hitting lead off yesterday instead of Leury, or Leury hitting lead off today, things would have been different. Harrison’s run just now would not have happened with Leury leading off.

The trifecta of sucking big time.

Schwarber would have been a good LH power hitter fit. His OF defense is not great but not worse than Sheets.

Leury Garcia - Tony La Russa and Rick Hahn and beyond....
Could it be that Hahn has turned out to be incompetent in building a lineup? Prioritizing Leury at the expense of getting a quality 2nd baseman and lefty outfielder, shifting most resources to relievers and fielding a lineup like yesterday with three guys hitting under .200. What is the reasoning to having so many relievers when we can’t get enough runs? Trading for Kimbrel last season and not a lefty position player, when we already had an all star closer was not a good deal.

Moncada was a former 2 nd baseman. Are you saying Moncada’s D is worse than Harrison and leury’s?
