  1. I thought that they were doing remote due to COVID. Benetti misses too many calls on remote, specially homers.
  2. Was better than Beckham pairing,
  3. I Take my chances with The more experienced Bummer in a game situation and not with a rookie.
  4. If they had some doubt about Crochet reliability, they should not have brought him in on a game situation when he had to face at least three batters. Go with more veteran Bummer.
  5. Sounds like a good plan. Sox have been primarily a ground ball hitting team so hit and runs makes sense with the right players. Are you factoring Billy Hamilton in any scenario? Burger?
  6. GB himself said on the broadcast that he was more of a football than a baseball guy. His family were mostly footballers. Maybe he got hit on the head one too many times playing football in high school.
  7. Can’t be too bad sharing moniker with CR7 (Cristiano Ronaldo).
  8. Are you guys implying previous Spider Tack usage?
  9. Beckham’s monotone is Ambien on steroids. I may record him and play him back at night to help me go to sleep.
  10. TLR threw the towel in bringing in Foster. A reliever that gives up walks and homers like Foster should not be on our MLB roster.
  11. Beckham verbal diahrrea is so bad that I had to push the mute button on my TV!
  12. He started the rout with his botched up run down tag, and ended the rout with a nice play.
  13. Tim’s failure to tag in the run down opened up the flood gate and may have cost us up to 5 runs. Make sure of the sure out. Our D has been terrible.
  14. Our offense must be hurting when we have a journeyman like Goodwin hitting cleanup.
  15. Sox will not go into a prolonged slump because of its excellent starting pitchers and stoppers. Let’s not worry so much.
  16. Well, I guess we go back to beating up the bottom feeders like last season.
  17. Astros are a very good fastball hitting team.
  18. Our defense has been bad as well. Balls hit tonight over Leury and Vaughn’s heads tonight should have been caught. Our catchers cannot throw anybody out.
  19. I think the blame on TLR now should be about doubling down on Mercedes as DH in the 5th spot, doing nothing, a rally killer and not protecting Abreu.
  20. With abreu and the Yerminator not hitting in the middle of the lineup and a shaky defense it is going to be tough coming back.
  21. Good to take a break from Sox math and Beckham verbal diahrrea.
  22. The Astros are what the Sox would have been with Eloy and Robert. Offensive juggernaut and good pitching. Better team than the current Sox offensively and defensively. We hold better with pitching however.
  23. You are right. It probably cost us the game.
  24. It would have been ok to hit and run with Madrigal as he makes contact, but not with Mendick
