the bears did a job in understanding that they could get 2 solid starters that will have an impact rather than the potential of haveing a stud which seems to make more sense for our team

I think Corner is a BIG BIG need especially if we hope to build a pass rush we will need good cover corners and there should be some available. So now we can address both and grab a QB all in the first 35 picks.

finally some of you guys see the value of getting some more quality players on our team

whatever lets just hope the bears will make some good selections and make a run for the playoffs again

I think we need to get rid of crash for now and dumping Paul back to AAA was a good start but I think we don't need to tinker too much otherwise things could crash and burn badly.

I can't say that yet depending on who is left and who they decide to take which is why I am optimisitic this will turn out allright if some players fall our way.

That was a classic I stayed up watching the end of it then stayed up longer to see the TWOLVES just steal one from the Lakers and the refs hopefully the NHL and NBA Playoffs will stay this entertaining

I just think this gives the Bears more options on how they want to fix the holes in our defense. Sure we lose out on the "big time" guy but the Bears are showing that they know they have problems and are working to fix them. It is not like we traded down for one pick we got two and a chance to improve 2 spots on our team.

I think the trade will work out right if the Bears can get a QB, DB and D-lineman using the three picks. I feel they can use the 13th pick to get a D-lineman who will be able to contribute right away. Then with the 22nd pick they can go ahead and grab a QB like Boller or Grossman who arent as good as Leftwich but both are much better than the rest. Then with the 35 pick they might look to bolster the DB position. I am not going to rush to judgment in condeming the trade because it might work out and I personally think $$$ is not a part of the reason for the trade.

I know the guy Christensen hit tryed out with the Schaumburg Flyers a year or two ago but I think he had too many problems with his eyes to have any chance of continuing on...its sad
