I would agree with you for the most part, except in cases where the signatures are awfully tough to obtain or impossible (Tiger, LeBron, Jordan). That's what's great about Soxfest and Spring Training, it's fairly easy to obtain signatures of the guys who could otherwise be difficult to obtain.

For what it will be worth someday, it would have been a solid investment at the 118 price...

Yeap, they sure are. In fact I am having dinner tonight with one of the biggest Yankee fans I've ever met...Then again, he is neither annoying nor an arrogant asshole so I dunno whether he can really be called a Yankee fan. I think what sets him apart from other Yank fans is that he actually feels my pain as a White Sox fan.

The title of this thread (subtitle at least) implies that Yankee fans aren't real fans, which I would disagree with, just wanted to point that out. Did anyone else catch that? Because obviously this trade didn't ruin baseball for Yankee fans.

Got my grandfather to agree to come along with me so it should be good times. Then once the season rolls around I'll be looking forward to meeting up with you and the other posters at a few games and maybe even having a soxtalk tailgating party...

Well it wasn't too great actually, I got rather sick that night and actually went to the doctor to get some medicine yesterday but I'm feeling a lot better today...some sort of allergy infection and a mid case of strep throat, but nothing that an antibiotic can't clear right up. Of course my V-day would have been better had I actually had a Valentine, but hey, that's my choice... Glad to hear you had a great time miss doable one...
