Playing any team in the playoffs is a problem I'm willing to deal with this year.

Peters can't play against lefties. And the Sox are fine in the bullpen, especially with the Brazoban trade. They can bring up Macdougal if they want.

They got a starter, a reliable bullpen arm, upgraded catching, and a gold glove caliber CFer they can platoon with Peters who has been struggling lately. I wish they'd have kept Everson, but Fuller hasn't steered me wrong yet. Edit - and also dumped their overpaid closer who was an unreliable gas can.
