Can we blame Gary Ward for that one?

  9. Knights are tied 3-3, in the 17th inning. Box score to follow when someone scores.

I've wondered why he changed his swing really early in the season. Olivo use to stay really, really closed in 2002 and early 2003, but now he's doing something different. He sets up the same as last year, but when the pitch is just about to arrive, he opens his shoulders up a ton, and is then easily fooled by a breaking ball. He needs to revert to his old batting stance where he was closed on the front side the entire time.
  11. Who says French women aren't hot: Best. Picture. Ever. Oh, and http://www.infoadvocaten.nl/alizee/gallery. Welcome.
  12. Been floating around the net for a while now.
  13. Alizee, I've got more pics if you want to make an Off-Topic thread.
  14. Ahem. France or no France, she's hot.
  15. Alizee Jacotet, pop singer from France.
  16. LOL, nice avatar Donkey. Alizee = win. I've got an avatar of mine own, but no webspace. Uploading dealy seems to have died.

Twins destroying the Royals right now. Evere since I saw their 2nd half schedule, I thought they'd have a good chance of winning.

I liked what I've saw out of Akins, sans hits and such, of course. Fastball looks good, slider doesn't look bad either. Defintely has a future in the pen.
  19. 4. would never let Miguel Olivo bat again. He needs AAA next year, really bad.
  20. Actually, that's Chicago. Several people today did tell me that Detroit did, in fact, take over the title in 2001 from Gary and has been increasing it's lead since. What a great record to hold, eh? I'm fairly positive Chicago took the honor in 2002.
  21. He's on pace to pitch 85
  22. There's one spot open on the 40 man right now.
  23. He wouldn't be doing anything other than taking a space on the 40 man, which could be used for picthers, and not batting or playing. He should start training immeadiately after the season is done. We have six outfielders on the 40 man, no reason to bring up another one.
  24. Actually, that's Chicago.
  25. Reed would rot on the bench. I don't expect him getting a September callup, either.
