If Marinez wins the game, I guess you can give the win to Ozzie. greg will never shut up then.

Carlos Sanchez, our Futures Game rep, is now playing. Hit a double to LF in his first AB.

QUOTE (South Side Fireworks Man @ Jul 8, 2012 -> 05:31 PM) Either I'm not reading those graphs correctly, or they are not accurate at all. There were two balls way outside to Rios in just one at bat that were called strikes that I don't see represented on those graphs. Or was the "Pitch Trax" on WGN that far off? There are two red squares on the far right of the non-normalized plots. Those are the calls against Rios. One was probably six to eight inches outside, the other about three inches.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 8, 2012 -> 05:02 PM) Not really. Kinda annoying at most. Agreed. Felt like we were playing uphill with Reyburn's wacky strike zone.

QUOTE (sin city sox fan @ Jul 8, 2012 -> 04:40 PM) If we fail to come back and win, I see another call from Selig coming to Hawk after this game. He's biting his tongue to this point, but I feel like he's ready to unleash some ugliness in the 9th. If I was Hawk I'd tell Selig to go f*** himself. Hawk isn't a MLB employee, so Selig can't do a thing to him.
