Freddy's velocity looks weak so far.

I think its funny that the Sox have one hitter in the .200's, Scotty Pods at .207. Everyone else is above .300 or below .200. Big time separation.

Interesting that Tracey is starting. Just look at the numbers of the starters for the Sox today, just great. I really think people have underestimated the depth of the farm system. Hopefully, this is the case and not that its April and the hitters are just slumping.

I really think Lumsden is the better pitcher. Gio, being so small, is gonna have some injury problems. Lumsden's stuff is right there with Gio, maybe a little lower. He's got the low-to-mid 90's fastball, a power curve that isn't as tight as Gio's, but pretty good and a solid change. Plus, Lumsden is 6-4 with a good build. The one thing that works in Gio's favor is his age and his deception with his delivery.

Thanks to the mod that fixed that.

you are correct, Papelbon is 25. I think the NL has got a lot of good candidates: Hermida (if healthy,) Zimmerman (i think he counts,) Fielder and Hanley Ramirez, just to name a few.

If Zook is wise, when Benn comes on his visit next fall, "Juice" Williams should be his host (right word?) Juice is obviously the QB of the future, if not this year and getting Juice to talk to Benn would definately help.
