Good deal! IU's football coach and entire staff were fired after only winning 8 games in 3 years at the helm. Maybe with our new AD, we take a look at getting a big name coach. We'll see.

Oh I agree...I'm the same as you right now, just trying to make my way through college, and hope that there's a job available for me when it's time. I'm not condemning the way the athletes think or the way they get to go through life, but I feel that most of us would do the same if the chance/situation was possible.

To the people that said you don't root for conferences, are you happy with the way we're perceived? I know I'm not. I'd like to be looked at the way the ACC and the Big East are now.

True..It can be done, and I like that. However, it's just very hard to finally get that and keep it. It just seems an education may not even be valued that much anymore. These athletes know if they're good enough, that in a couple years time, they'll be making millions of dollars. Why do all the extra work when you can get easy money by doing less? It's unfortunate, but true...

Times change. Look at how much they say our generation disrespects the older generations now compared to past generations. I believe it's got to be hurting them now. Stupid/bad analogy, but... Think how much we all use our computers now; our lives have basically become dependant around computers. Imagine taking that away now. It almost seems impossible to us. Past generations probably don't see it that way, because very few of them had to do anything with a cimputer. *********** Things and times change.
