  1. This is probably eastern time?
  2. Not sure how accurate it is but MLB.com has this game starting in a delay on the homepage.
  3. Love that he’s in. Bummed he’s our only one publicly voted in. Should get Davis and maybe Taylor in there as well. I wonder if Miguel will participate in the derby. That would be fun.
  4. I will be very happy if we manage to take 2 out of 4 in Cleveland
  5. Cubs lost 17-1 today to St Louis.
  6. I hope you have a good time! I mean really any experience at any MLB park is not going to be bad lol. The city just didn’t do anything for me. We found a nice park by the water that we enjoyed, was probably the highlight outside of the ballgame. But we came from Pittsburgh which is such a cool city and obviously one of the best parks in the league at PNC Park.
  7. Is there really anything good about Cleveland? I went there a few years ago doing a ballpark trip. City was nothing to be desired. Ballpark is okay nothing special. People were nice I guess.
  8. Colson really going through it right now
  9. I get that feeling. Us Sox fans are used to that. But this team has shown time and again that they aren’t the same Sox teams of the past. They lose a tough one or two and we and we all expect that to be the downfall and then they surprise everyone and start winning again.
  10. My point was that all teams go through rough stretches and go through periods during the season where they don’t play great ball. The Yankees will be fine at the end of it. The Sox recent has been fine. Sure they’ve lost a few tough ones and there are obvious holes that need to be filled, but they aren’t spiraling.
  11. Well, my point, as clearly stated in my first post, is they’ve been fine. And if you want to use your sample size, which is less recent than my sample size, and the whole point of this is RECENT play, but whatever I will oblige, .500 ball over a month of play in a 162 season is still FINE. Yankees have lost 7 in a row. Guess what they will be when the season is over? Guess which word?
  12. Yet they’ve won 5 out of the last 7 series
  13. They’ve won the last 5 out of 7 series they’ve played…
  14. Chuck mentioned on his recent podcast that Cleveland was bad in every offensive category except walks (and SB if you count that). When I heard that it made me pause…Sox don’t usually handle it well when the opposition forces them to throw strikes.
  15. What are you talking about? We just had a 4-2 home stand, and then took 2 of 3. Tonight wasn’t the best but “recent” play has been fine overall.
  16. That is a crazy stat. How many of those turned into losses?
  17. Craig Albernaz left Gibson out there to suffer lol
  18. These dudes making it tough for the brass to decide who goes down when Mune is ready.
  19. Sox taking care of business in Baltimore. Loving the road scoring here.
