They’re slumping big time.

Doubt they really make a difference with the kind of pitchers we’ve been facing.

I feel like part of the reason we’ve been in a slump is because we’ve been facing elite starter after elite starter. I guess a good taste of what the postseason would probably look like but good God this team needs a break.

Well, I think it’s kind of wild to compare what Will did to a drunk driver not killing anyone. But, to your point I guess, it was a brain fart, at the beginning of a game, that was about to get out of hand, that ended up not getting out of hand (in that moment) probably because of that brain fart. Situationally, not a big deal. Had it been in a much more important situation, like a tie ballgame in the 8th or something, then I might agree with you a bit more. But it wasn’t, so I’m inclined to think it really wasn’t a big deal as you think it was.

I don’t think it was a huge deal. Schultz was getting rocked anyway. Honestly that probably saved the first inning from being 6-0 instead of 2-0.

Will be there tonight. Hope we can blow these fools out of the water, catch em while they’re down. Will be a tough challenge against Messick though.
