Tough month of August. We do have 3 games against Cinci and 3 against the Mets, those might be the only "lackluster" teams we face this month. Otherwise Boston, Cleveland, Cubs, Rangers, Twins, a makeup against Atlanta, even Detroit, definitely no walks in the park this month. I think what might really work in our favor is having KC and COL to end the year. That might really help us in the last few games when it comes down to the wire at the end, which it almost is guaranteed to. Minnesota and Cleveland aren't going anywhere, and Detroit is also knocking at the door.

Especially when the previous game was a day game and the next game after the day Off is at night

Pereira, hits double and homerun, next game DFA. Junior Perez, two run home run, next game demoted to AAA. The fringe outfielders better be careful with how well they play lol.

B. I think I would have liked one more starting pitcher. Bullpen is solid. Offense is completely fine as is. But we could potentially get some internal starting pitching reinforcement help later in the season so we'll see. Our guys are going to start getting gassed though from all these innings. Have to hope and pray for no major injuries. If they can pitch down the stretch like they have the last 5 games or so, if that is sustainable and not just a fluke, then this team can be real dangerous in late August into September and...wait for it...OCTOBER!!

Tigers still can make a run for the wildcard/division.

If we can just bring up Quero to hit in walk-off situational AB's against big-name teams, and then not see him any other times, I'd be fine with that. Though I'd rather see him at the plate than Romo. Romo is allegedly really good working with our pitchers? Might be his only saving grace.

John is actually growing on me. Did not like his style at all at first and he still has his cringe moments. However I think he has improved. That southside stand up needs to stop though, it ruins the moment. I thought he was done with it then he said it recently. While I’m starting to like the guy, I think I’d be fine if they went another direction, with someone who is proven to be good at announcing and someone that works well with Steve. I actually like Steve a lot.

I think Plesac is a good partner for John. They seem to work well together.
