  1. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jan 15, 2011 -> 06:28 PM) Terrible f***ing holding call. What did the ref see there? Seriously? That was a nice block, nowhere near a hold.
  2. That is a total f***ing joke. Not a holding call. Ravens should be up by 4.
  3. Everytime I see Terrell Suggs make a big play I think two things (1) Man that guy has big gums and small teeth and (2) Jerry Angelo passed on him to draft Michael Haynes and Rex Grossman. Thanks Jerry.
  4. I like the Ravens. . . but they always seem to implode against this Steelers team.
  5. QUOTE (kev211 @ Jan 13, 2011 -> 12:05 AM) I'm not surprised at all. Every single iffy thing that has left his mouth the last few months he either denies he said it, claims the words are too complex to understand what he said, or comes up with a stupid story about it being a retweet when he has retweeted people before and clearly knows to put a RT before their name. Karma? Lebron never even heard the word until yesterday when the media started bringing it up.
  6. I wanna go higher. Derrick Rose is a beast.
  7. QUOTE (CrimsonWeltall @ Jan 8, 2011 -> 09:43 PM) Why is running into the kicker even a penalty? NFL needs to protect one its most important assets. . . kickers.
  8. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jan 4, 2011 -> 05:59 PM) Well duh, what about one of these screams "Sharp"? ?
  9. NEW Michelle Ryan photos (Kinda NSFW). Uh-oh. . . That guy sure doesn't look like Rex Ryan. He actually looks a little like Revis Island.
  10. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Dec 29, 2010 -> 09:24 AM) Favre To Be Fined For Texts My guess this will go down around 7pm on New Years Eve. Goodell has lost points in my book this year. Too many inconsistent decisions. I can't believe a guy can text pictures of his wang to an NFL Team Employee and get away without punishment. Unless Goodell has good reason to believe that its not his wang, she asked him to send it to her, or something else. . . this is pretty indefensible to me. This looks like textbook sexual harassment.
  11. Tonight, Mike Vick is looking a lot like pre-dog raping Mike Vick.
  12. QUOTE (knightni @ Dec 27, 2010 -> 06:25 PM) I'd rather have him than T.O. Ocho is just a free spirit. But he's never in real trouble and wants to win. He would be a great guy with the fans and charities in Chicago. It would be interesting to see how Lovie and that lockeroom could handle him. The Bears typically don't have guys who chirp like he does. I'd like to think Lovie could handle him.
  13. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Dec 27, 2010 -> 10:32 AM) I have no idea what will happen in FA next year, whether or not there will be a next year, etc., but there are legit options without contracts for next year at both of those spots (and no, I'm not referring to Moss or Owens). Vincent Jackson and Ochocinco could be legit WR options with stuff left, and Logan Mankins at guard has really been key for the 2nd half Pats surge. Brandon Marshall might be available via trade, given his so-so season in Miami. I know the Dolphins just acquired him but I think Sparano might be gone and Parcells might leave too. Depending on the new regime, the Fins might be willing to part with Marshall for a 2nd or 3rd round pick. I know he might be a serious headcase, but Cutler has undeniable chemistry with him.
  14. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Dec 27, 2010 -> 10:17 AM) To be fair...with the way it's been called this year, I don't think anyone knows what actual pass interference looks like any more. Agree. Am I the only one who thinks the NFL should adopt the college rule and get rid of PI as a spot foul? Refs call PI so inconsistently that it shouldn't be such a game-changing penalty. I also think this would shift some tactical weight back to the defense. This probably won't get any serious attention until there is an egregious game-changing PI call in an important game.
  15. QUOTE (DrunkBomber @ Dec 27, 2010 -> 09:28 AM) Its also amazing to see what Cutler can do when he has time to throw. When he steps into his throws theyre basically always right on target. He also did a good job moving around and giving his receivers time to get open. Despite the big day from our passing game we still have issues at WR. Lots of dropped passes and giving up on routes. I agree on both counts. I want to see the Bears invest (either a FA or Draft Pick) in the WR position. I think we have found two nice players in Knox and Bennett that can play the slot or the off position. I still think we need to get Jay a guy who will actually a) get open consistently (our guys don't) and B) make a play on a the ball (our guys don't). Ideally I'd like to see Angelo or Ruskell bring in a Aromashodu type, a big body who can run, jump, and go up for the jump ball. Acquiring better WRs is still secondary to improving the OL.
  16. QUOTE (iamshack @ Dec 27, 2010 -> 05:07 AM) Just looking ahead to the Bears possible playoff routes... The route should we lose next week in Green Bay is infinitely more difficult unless Philadelphia were to lose to Minny or Dallas. Huge, huge game for the Bears, probably as big a game as any for any team already guaranteed a playoff spot. Totally agree. This team cannot rest on their accomplishments. I am really happy with the way the team has played this year but the Bears need to go into Lambeau and knock the Packers out of the playoffs. I don't think the Bears can afford to miss out on the bye week and I don't think anyone wants to play Aaron Rodgers in the first round of the playoffs. So either win or give him a concussion.
  17. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Dec 26, 2010 -> 03:44 PM) Addai/Rhodes/Brown are starting off well. Sebass -- wow. 59 yarder. Not his career long.
  18. Does Chester Taylor have a place on this team next year?
  19. QUOTE (Brian @ Dec 26, 2010 -> 03:13 PM) Chris Harris continues to have a very good season. Great move bringing him back. It was a great move bringing him back for essentially nothing. But he hasn't had a very good season. I love da hit man but he has been brutalized a few times this season. I will say that he has been better than anything we've seen for awhile at the S position in Chicago.
  20. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Dec 26, 2010 -> 02:48 PM) What in the f*** was the Sanchize doing on that one. He was not remotely open. Not sure why the pass before wasn't intentional grounding.
