Aaron Miles of the birmingham barons, is getting really overlooked imo. I know he is approaching 26 and all, and still at AA...... but what a unbelivable season this guy had! 322 avg 9 Hrs 68 RBI 138 runs scored 25 SB's and only 45k's in 531 ab's I think he could become a very good back-up ball player on the sox, and someone who is deadly off the bench. Something we've lacked on this team. What ya'll think?

Valentine was a virtual nobody going into this year. I'm almost positive he was picked up off waivers, and was dominant as hell. When I'd write the recaps, I'd see his name come up day after day. He was really durable and had he struck out more batters than innings pitched which is always impressive. BTW era was 1.97 4-1 record

My Grades Lofton - D+ Started like a bat outta hell Ray Ray - D+. still batted 300 for us Alomar- C. I think he did what we asked of him. Royce - C If we rely on our 9th hole hitter for offense, we have problems. He was brought here for defense and he did that well. Still hated him though smug bastard. Around the diamond Paulie - A. Great year. Harris - D, I wanna see more outta this kid. he is better than what he's shown Jimenez - B+. very nice almost secured 2nd base for next year Jose V - B yet another solid season. Graff- looked ok. Crede- A. I love watching him play Olivo -C. Olivo played ok Mark Johnson - D- This guy sucks Josh P. D didn't impress me Carlos Lee - C+ Played under his potential again, When is the breakout season coming? Worked on his D, and it showed alittle. Rowand - B. Robocop, badass I love him Maggs - A+ This guy is amazing. set career power numbers. A true star. Liefer- C- looked like he could have broken out if he had more time Frank - C plus. numbers were there, but felt like he struggled alot. Joe B - incomplete. Garland - C+ I wanna see Jon do better, I like this guy sooooooo much that when he struggled at times it really pissed me off. Good season, should and I think will be better next year. Wright - B. Although he finished well, I think if he starts off slow he won't be starting for long. Mark B - A plus. Amazing. Ritchie - F. This f***o needs to go win back the respect of his fans

I agree with everything except for Kw, I think he deserves a C. He got us Marte who was our best pitcher. Also acquired Diaz who should pitch for this team someday. Team is also in goo shape for next year. Good post gregory

Thats right soxfans, our season is over! We finished 81-81 2nd place, not exactly where we were planning was it? I'd like to start a thread of final thoughts for this season, thoughts on the future, and other thoughts you might have.
