Continuation...Israel is surrounded by Arab countries who want nothing more than the total destruction of Israel and the Jewish people. As such, Israel exists in a self-defense mode 24/7! Thus, Israel is in a "kill or be killed" mode, and is not about to roll over and die. (As much as you, Apu, etc, would like to see that happen!)

A lot of what you say is true, and I commend you for writing it in such an eloquent fashion. I have the following comments, though. 1) Israel has NO responsibility to make "palis'" lives better. The Arabs that live in Israel have better lives, and live more comfortably and with more freedoms than 95+% of Arabs living in Arab countries. But, the "palis" are Arabs, thus, the Arab nations have the reponsibility to help their brethren. The problem here is, the rest of the Arab world sees the "palis" as worthless. (i.e. "Black Sunday" when Jordan slaughtered 10,000+ "palis", (you don't know about that though, but if Israel kills 1 Hamas militant, you and your liberal friends cry foul!)). 2) The word "occupation" is a misnomer, the correct term should be "Disputed Territories". Pre-1967, Egypt, Syria, etc., told the Arabs living in Israel, to get out, and when they destroy Israel, these Arabs would then have their own nation. But as you know, Israel kicked the Arabs' asses, and the pre-6day war Israeli Arabs were made "refugees". (TO THE VICTOR GOES THE SPOILS!!!) 3) Root causes of anti-Israel terrorism...children are "brain-washed" from Day 1 to hate the Jews. They are taught that the Jews are the Devil, and the cause of their impoverished conditions. Meanwhile, Arafat is worth BILLIONS! Money that was given to "Palestine" to improve the conditions of it's people. I can see how that is Israel's fault. 4) I am college/law school degreed, and have an above average IQ...you are probably a fry cook or something similar, with a GED. If anyone is "f***ed in the head"....

Killing is self-defense is ALWAYS an acceptable response, especially when your existance is threatened, no matter what the Torah says!

Apu...even liberal news media link Arafat and Al Aqsa...it's common knowledge, UNLESS you get your "information" from Al Jazeera! Check out the Sun Times, Fox News, MSNBC, even pro-Arab media like Reuters and the BBC have said that Al Aqsa is under Arafat's control!

As far as the Nazi comparison (which I deeply resent!), the only group in this dispute that has EVER promoted genocide, was the "Palestinians"! That's a fact, and I can provide SEVERAL quotes by "Palestinian" religious/political leaders to prove it!

I honestly feel that Israel is 99.5% in the right re. the dispute with the "Palestinians". This stems from the fact that the "palis" have no legitimate claim to ANY part of Israel...NONE! If the "palis" would stop attacking Israel, Israel would not COUNTER-attack! To answer your last question further, Israel should have taken Arafat out a long time ago! I am college and law school educated/degrees, and I still don't know what you're talking about! No, I don't speak Hebrew, I haven't since I was Bar Mitzvahed in 74. I am, however, looking to take some Hebrew classes soon!

1) Countries like Belgium, France, Germany, etc., are as anti-Israel as Apu is. Their opinions are not worth s***! These countries have had a recors of voting against Israel EVERY time a resolution came before them, while at the same time ignoring violence/terrorism against Jews in their own countries! 2) Say what you will about Sharon, but at least, he was democratically elected, UNLIKE the leaders in the other Arab countries. Israelis elected Sharon by overwhelming numbers because they were (are) sick of being victims of "Palestinian" aggression/terrorism. That's why, if Sharon leaves and/or is forced out of office, you'll see Netanyahu elected. 3) Remember, the 200 peace accors/agreement was shot down by ARAFAT, NOT ISRAEL! Israel conceded EVERY demand of the "Palestinians", but that still wasn't enough. If every Jew in Israel had promised to commit suicide, then Arafat would've agreed to the accord. THERE CANNOT BE PEACE WITH THE "PALESTINIANS" WHILE ARAFAT IS STILL ALIVE...HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN ASSASSINATED A LONG TIME AGO.

Last time I looked, Al Aqsa Brigade is directly under Arafat's command!!!
