  1. QUOTE(santo=dorf @ May 1, 2005 -> 06:04 PM) The only thing people will remember about Kruk's .300 average is that he quit once he reached it. Kruk = fat piece of s***. f*** him.
  2. QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ May 1, 2005 -> 05:45 PM) No love for Garland. Wow. Even ESPN named him the month's best pitcher. It's good though. If no one knows about Garland, makes it even easier for him to blow teams away. I bet even if he ends up with an ERA at 2.90, he probably still won't make the All-Star game. Yeah but a slug like Jared Wright will. :rolly
  3. Awww f*** these guys. Garland gets no love as best pitcher in April. :fyou BBTN
  4. QUOTE(flippedoutpunk @ May 1, 2005 -> 05:34 PM) maybe id take kruk more seriously if he would have kept his former hair cut party in the back baby Or maybe if he's stop eating 50 boxes of donuts in 1 sitting......... Lardass!!!!
  5. QUOTE(The Bones @ May 1, 2005 -> 04:37 PM) Gave up 7 runs in 1 inning, all after getting 2 outs and 2 strikes on Mike Lamb. Ouch. LOL!!!!! EAT s*** ASSHOLE HAHAHA
  6. QUOTE(Punch and Judy Garland @ May 1, 2005 -> 05:26 PM) well Reynols made an all star team and stole 60 basses and Kruk had a lifetime 300 average so you below average statement was pretty foolish Reynolds who has a career .258 batting average? Kruk, who's career highlight was wetting his pants at the '93 All Star Game when a pitch went over his head?
  7. QUOTE(flippedoutpunk @ May 1, 2005 -> 05:23 PM) i love BBTN i love hearing below average former baseball players tell me how superstars can fix their swings LOL!!!!!!!! PWN3D!!!!!!!!!
  8. QUOTE(JUGGERNAUT @ May 1, 2005 -> 04:13 PM) That's an impressive list. It's going to change of course as it's heavily influenced by wins & losses. I expect Colon to be in it after May. Florida is unbelievable! Willis, Beckett, & Burnett are all Cy candidates. That's what Flub fans have always dreamed of. Too bad it looks like just Prior this yr. I'm not surprised that El Duque is there. It's more a question of whether he can last the marathon than be amongst the leaders early. As for Jon, I was hoping on 15W. I thought he could do it as a #5 following El Duque. Now I'm hoping for Cy Jon. Prior got hammered today. 8 ER in 5 innings.
  9. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ May 1, 2005 -> 03:56 PM) Let's keep in mind who he has beaten though. Yeah......teams in our division.
  10. QUOTE(KWs OK for Me @ May 1, 2005 -> 03:54 PM) 4 - 1 vs Tigers 4 - 1 vs Twins 4 - 2 vs Tribe 3 - 0 vs Royals 15 - 4 vs Central Thats how you win a division
  11. QUOTE(YASNY @ May 1, 2005 -> 03:52 PM) Timo broke that up! Too bad Hawk was in the s***ter and we had to endure DJ's homerun call again. :rolly
  12. QUOTE(3E8 @ May 1, 2005 -> 03:50 PM) Team ERA under 3? Sick. Garland ERA is 1.38. MORE SICK!!!!
  13. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ May 1, 2005 -> 03:49 PM) Can anyone understand Ozzie in this press conference? Usually I can understand him a bit but today I'm having issues. Jon Garlan is da man. He winne game for us again. Joo canno touc im.

  21. QUOTE(mac9001 @ May 1, 2005 -> 11:12 AM) More oil isn't the solution; alternative fuels is what will keep oil prices down. I've done a lot of research into the "oil problem" and more oil will have little to no effect on future prices. As of right now about 25% of U.S power plants are run on oil (only 8% on nuclear power), build more nuclear power plants, invest in solar, wind and geothermal power. Finally there's nothing like a fuel efficient car, if everyone was getting 40 miles to the gallon we wouldn't have this problem. You can thank enviro wackos for our current problems. Because of their resistance there have been no nuclear plants built in 30 years & no new refining capacity built in 30+ years. Refining capacity, or the lack thereof, is a huge reason why gas is so expensive. We have oil sitting around in inventory but there aren't enough refineries to change it over to gasoline and other distilates to meet demand.
  22. QUOTE(witesoxfan @ May 1, 2005 -> 01:30 PM) Everett's arm = bad for RF Add to the fact that Everett is bad defensively, and you see why you want him in LF. Plus, it's not like having a weak arm in CF is a bad thing...Juan Pierre is a very solid defensive CFer, but he throws like a girl(GASP ), and Kenny Lofton won 4 straight gold gloves in CF with a very not-so-strong arm How strong an arm do you need to hit a cut off man? Seems to me that the only time a strong arm would come into play would be at SS or 3B.
  23. QUOTE(aboz56 @ May 1, 2005 -> 01:06 PM) Dye still has flu-like symptoms, Yeah. He's sick. It's called Rigor mortis.
  24. QUOTE(MinnesotaSoxFan @ May 1, 2005 -> 05:05 AM) assholes... i just got back, and i had a great time. The dance at the beginning was horrible, because everyone was talking... I went to the dance floor and started to bust a move. Everyone came soon after that... Everyone saw me do my MC Hammer dance. Girls were bumping and grinding me...Good time... As for big chocalate, she was not dancing at all, so i told her to hit the curb. The After Party kicked major ass...I won Old School for the After Party Raffle. I won 21 real dollars in playing blackjack.(50 fake dollars=1 dollar) I sang some karaoke(Jailhouse Rock)...Got hypnotised and I cant remember what the hell I did. Some people said I was a belly dancer, a cheerleader, an eskimo, and a skydiver. The people said that the hypnotist made us flick the teachers off... Overall: I only wish that I was a Junior so I could experience this again next year. But I had a good time. My first and prolly last Prom I attend. You didn't get laid? You suck.
  25. QUOTE(qwerty @ May 1, 2005 -> 02:51 AM) Anyone else notice him taking a first pitch fast ball right down the middle of the plate nearly every time up now? Then he swings at the s***ty pitches and either k's or pops it up. When you are going bad you are going bad. He really needs to get his s*** together along with dye. I still think it would be a bad idea to bring him back next year for any significant amount of money but we will see. A lot of folks are noticing that about him. It's totally maddening!!
