yeah but i heard that s*** happens somethings, well yes i don't doubt it happens, which is why i said in most cases. but i think that is only a small percentage of people who have trouble distinguishing what reality is.

i really been harsh on some of the players this weekend and i am sure most if not all at really nice people. but in some way, it comes with the territory. i only real player i hate is sosa and yes i meet him when he was a player for the sox. other than that, i have to give my props to the player for developing a thick skin. i guess they have too, b/c if i heard some of the stuff that was thrown there way, i would be extremely angry. I think the "hate" directed at athletes is similar to hating a movie character. You hate a villan in a movie because of what he or she does to the good guys. That doesn't mean (in most cases) if you saw the actor who plays the villan walking down the street the street you would walk up to them and be like YOU SUCK I HATE YOU. The hate involved doesn't even really deserve to be called hate, as it is such a shallow emotion. Not that I don't do my share of "hating".

oh what a terrible song to have stuck in your head, when you hear just that little kazoo or whatever the hell it is in the beginning. and then the part where rivers goes, "in.....the.....g'raaage" (more kazoo). gagh.

Randa's smile is f***ing creepy, he looks like the joker.

I have heard that Iraq moved them over the border and the administration is waiting to tell people when it's time to get reeeeeeeee-elected. And don't get on me about "IF YOU BELIEVE THAT...", it's just something I've heard. And I still think we'll get Saddam. To get the brothers someone tipped us off about their location (and recieved a nice $30 million check), I can easily see someone doing the same to their father, with the draw of money and the fact people are already selling out.

Those are from 25th hour. s***, thats right. God, I just know they are familiar and I was thinking she was the basketball star. I think I'm completing forgetting what 25th hour is about. I know I've seen it though. It's the story of a convicted drug dealer's last day before he's to report to jail with a little "twist" at the end. Ehhh, it msut not of been that great cause I only remember parts of it. I remember the girl specificaly and he hangs out with his friends like the last night. Probably the coolest part of the movie is when Norton and Tony Siragusa save the dalmatian's life. It's kinda gross but still good.

I know I've seen it though. 25th Hour, Ed Norton is about to go to jail, he's taking care of some stuff first. Directed by Spike Lee. I've seen two other Lee movies; Do the Right Thing, and Summer of Sam and they both rocked so I was expecting the same from 25th Hour. Didn't really happen though.

Only one I've seen of that list is the Recruit (twice) and I liked it for three basic reasons. 1) Al Pacino is the man. 2) Bridget Moynahan is dominant in it 3) It doesn't try to outsmart you by hiding things. Also, has anyone else seen Tigerland? It was one of Colin Farrell's first big movies but I haven't met a lot of people that have seen it. It's good stuff.

I haven't listened to the radio in like a year but that's sweet that they are getting on it. They are worthy of the air time. Warner Bros. obviously has something to do with it, as they are signed to their label, but I don't care cause the drummer owns the Fueled By Ramen label, so that should have a better chance at staying above water in spite of the rampant piracy.

I don't know the title but it's catchy as f***. Sounds kinda like a reggae tune. Oh I think I know what you mean, The Science of Selling Yourself Short. I like that one alot. The chorus goes like: I'll sing a-long, yeah with every emergency Just sing a-long, I'm the kind of catastrophe I'm so far gone, that deep down inside I think it's fine by me That I'm my own worst enemy

The LTJ song they play, is it "She's Gonna Break Soon"? cause that is the worst song on the new album.

Legal MP3's, what a novel concept If you want to know what Me First and the Gimme Gimmes sounds like, download End of the Road, it's from the new album and it's great. Also on that page if anyone is feeling extra open-minded, check out anything by snuff, swingin utters, bracket, or strung out.

Whose Jake Ghyllenda's sis? Maggie Gyllenhaal

Speaking of Ed Norton, 25th hour was not as good as I expected. however, rosario dawson gets an OH BABY for the way she looked in that movie. totally makes it worth it.
-
Yes buy alk3's album and me first's cause Spike from Swingin' Utters is in that band, so not only does Me First, and Fat Wreck get money, but Spike does too and Swingin' prospers!

Oh the actual execution of the movie I liked, it moved along at a good pace and explored a lot of different scenarios. But Sutherland's character was a f***, flat out. He did not achieve the sort of Robin Hood public defender type character he was apparently going for, in my mind. Think..he only killed a common thief, a porn director or whatever he was and a pimp. He never murdered the innocent. I do agree though, the guy was a f***..but I think you have to look at it as he was never going to do some of the things he said he was, he just wanted the guy to finally change his mindset and to do that he had to scare him straight. Oh he was willing to let Farrel die, let the cops shoot him. A couple times he almost forced him into it. The movie reminded me of a short story by Stephen King called Quitters, Inc. It's about an agency (mob) that helps people stop smoking by threatening the person's family, shocking their spouse the first time they smoke again, beating their kid etc. The people get angry and frustrated but there's nothing they can do about it, either stop smoking or pay the consequences. One line I remember that relates I think is, "Nobody likes a pragmatist."

I saw Phone Booth last night, and it was alright but it seemed kind of empty. When he was promoting it, Sutherland said he was supposed to be the good guy, but I like Farrell's character a lot better (as I'm assuming most people did). But what is the movie's message supposed to be? Don't lie, or some psycho will threaten you? It's alright to f*** with other people cause they want to cheat on their wives? I dunno, maybe I'm overanalyzing but it just seemed like it lacked depth. And I couldn't stand the way Sutherland talked and laughed. His lines sounded fake.

You really wanna know?? YEAH!! WE WILL NOT HAVE....THIS! What's a f***ass? oh yeah, the movie is dominant. i must have seen it at least eight times. the ending i can only balance in my head for a few hours at a time so don't ask me to explain it

haha you're right. that is one of those things that always bugged me but i never thought about it long enough to put it into words. cup o' joe, such a stupid term.
