Man this baldelli dude is so overrated! I mean, doubles and homers are nice but where are the walks? Hmmm?

I think they would remake it, cause that seems to be the fad lately in hollywood.

NC State is awesome. They may just win it all this year. Their recruiting class is supposedly kick-ass, so the Wolfpack have a bright future as well as a pleasant present. As far as winning it all, I am not sold on that. They will probably walk away as champs of the ACC. ACC will be one of the best conferences in the country this year, NC State is gonna have to fight for the title, though they have one of the easier schedules in the conference. I like Chuck Amato, he's a good man and a good coach. FSU, Virginia, Maryland, and NC State will all probably finish in the top 25. I think only the SEC and the Big 12 will be better. I have to disagree. FSU is out of control, and was mediocre last year. This year their mediocraty will continue. FSU has to be worried about the future, their last recruiting class is proclaimed the school's worst in the last 10 years. Virginia has some good young offensive players. But overall I think they are spread to thin to make a dent on the national scene. lol no, they were not mediocre last year. Maybe by their standards, but they are still one of the most talented teams in the nation, and did win their conference. Look who they lost to: Louisville in a rain-drenched OT game, #2 Miami, #17 Notre Dame, #11 N.C. State, and #3 Georgia. Wow, how awful. And for a supposedly terrible recruiting class, they did manage to land the #1 prospect in the nation in LB Ernie Sims, after getting #1 prospect Lorenzo Booker last year. FSU will be up at the top of the league, and Virginia will be right there with them.

lol but it's a mystery box! it could be anything, even a boat. we've always wanted one of those! sorry if i screwed up the quote but i didn't bother to look it up. my favorites are Lois: That commercial was obviously made by a man. Peter: Of course a man made it, Lois. It's a commercial, not a delicious thanksgiving dinner. --------------------------- Peter: I read a book about this once! Brian: Are you sure it was a book? Are you sure it wasn't nothing? Peter: Oh yeah.

Sorry man, i think that you are nervous. It's because in Brazil, people kill themselves because they are hungry, they dont have a job, dont have a good life, they live in the "favelas"... If a guy that is so important for a country is found dead in the middle of nowhere after all the talking about him, in my head this guy didnt killl himself, if he killed himself why he would do that? If you are the guy that know everything about suicide, you should know that. Did I not just say that you can't pretend to know why ANYONE committs suicide? Did I not just say it's foolish to pretend you know anything about someone's state of mind prior to taking their own life, or the though processes that go on? Did I not just say I don't pretend to know all the answers? And then you ask me why he did it??? Cubkilla covered it mostly, but jesus christ dude if I was proposing that the minds of people who take their own lives are mysteries, why would I then say I know why Kelly did it? I never said I was an expert on suicide, in fact I practically said the opposite, as it would be infinitely difficult to be an expert.

The bottom line is Kimmel is not half as funny when he doesn't have his farting and masturbation jokes to go to all the time. Don't get me wrong, I liked the Man Show and he was good on FOX's NFL pregame, but his show, everytime I've watched it, has been a train wreck. He was always saying um, what are we doing now, oh um alright well here's our next guest... Maybe I'll watch it again and see if he really has changed that much.

the griffey (I think) 89 upper deck rookie still fetches a decent amount I bet.

Conan is hilarious, but he has a tendency to interrupt his guests compulsively. They'll start to tell a story and he'll interject something that is often funny, but at times you want to tell him to shut up and let them finish. He probably has the best writers in late-night. That's not discounting his comedic ability, but it helps him greatly. Letterman's show can be slow at times but often he is carrying the show. He is a superb interviewer, you won't find anyone better, and he treats all his guests with respect, you can tell they like being there. He has the most substance I think, his wit is more refined and subtle. Jimmy Kimmel and Carson Daly don't deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as Letterman, Conan, O'Brien, Leno (I rarely watch him because of Letterman but he is alright, though a little too giddy), and even Kilborn, who has adapted to late-night and carved out his own niche. I haven't seen Tom Green's show so I can't comment. The End.

haha I don't know. Those riders are so close to the crowd that anything can happen I guess. I wouldn't put it past anyone to do something like that, but in this case I didn't get that vibe.

I do. Plain ol' vanilla just can't be "topped". Excuse the pun but I had to go for it.

Recently I found a Neal Cotts card I didn't know I had. It was from a box of 2001 UD prospects I bought a while ago. I got the box cause it was only like $20 and it had a memorabilia card (wound up with an Eddie Murray bat card). Other memorabilia cards I have, Chipper Jones bat card, Delgado autographed bat card, Glavine bat card (guy at the card store was so pissed, cause I only bought one pack), Clemens Red Sox jersey card, Antwaan Randle El rookie jersey, and Ron Dugans rookie autograph jersey. The clerk thought I was a sucker for buying it, but oh if he only knew how much I loved the '99 FSU team he could have driven the price much higher. I go through three-week stretches where I buy cards like mad and then forget about them for a year or two.

his show is great, i try and catch it every night either at or 12am or 3am. that interview i saw last night, and it was just bizarre. that guy saw it as an opportunity to promote and he did, but once olberman saw where it was going there was really nothing he could do.
-
The thing where he fell apparently was a kid with a plastic bag who was waving it around and it caught on his handlebars by accident. The situation I saw where he veered off course was when the rider in front of him crashed and Lance had to go to the side quickly. He cut through a field and had to kind of stop and turn his bike back onto the road.

Available is how much memory you have available for use at the moment. Cache is how much is being used by stuff (internet explorer, winamp, etc.). As for why the two don't add up to equal the total physical memory, well that I just don't know.

it was no problem i feel like an ass, hijacking heads's thread and now his idea. oh, and happy birthday.

I figured it would say FOUR f***ING HUNDRED

I like Dinardo. He was solid at LSU, he seems like a good motivator though sometimes a little too loud. Saban has done a bit better there, but Gerry recruited some damn good players and had some good seasons.

There was a man in my city a few months ago who shot his family (wife and kids), walked to city hall in the middle of the night, and shot himself on the steps. It is foolish to assume you know anything about a person's state of mind. It is foolish assume you know what they were thinking at the time they killed themselves. There are many factors that decide whether someone chooses to live or die. How f***ing vein can people get around here? Acting like reading bulls*** conspiracy theories makes them somehow more valuable as a human being? Pretending to know all the answers? f*** that and f*** anyone who tells other people how to live, claiming that their way is more important and admirable. f*** that. You wanna read pages and pages of legal documents? Fine. Great. Go right the f*** ahead. But that doesn't make you any less of a dickhead when you start pretending like it is how the virtuous people live. If someone wants to know the batting average of a 3rd string catcher in Butte that's their f***ing agenda. If that is what they want to do who are you to tell them it's less important? f*** that.

He committed suicide.
-
Do not talk to me like that.
-
Yeah, really. I want to know the source of that.

You hate it because you don't understand it, not in the least. How sad.
