alot of alkaline trio, less than jake, snuff and radiohead. also, strung out's new album. it's severely good, especially the cover of bark at the moon.
  7. i saw it on sportscenter last night, and it was f***ing hilarious. the first one goes down, and then the other one tumbles on top of it. they showed it in slow motion like i imagined. it was funny too when the other two stood around their fallen brothers, but didn't know what to do. you could tell the sportscenter anchor wanted to laugh when he said "the two sausages were treated for scraped knees."
  8. i may be way off here, but these players, they don't seem very into it.

yeh i always did stuff like that too, but now they say playing with toy guns makes you violent. i haven't been in a fight in maybe 10 years, i haven't ever fired a real gun, so maybe i am an exception . but i doubt you have been in an inordinant amount of violence either.
  10. lol it's so f***ed up, but the mental image just makes me laugh. "As she fell, a nearby sausage--the hot dog--went down as well." Grainy video rolling through my head, similar to the Zapruder film, only with giant sausages falling on each other.

it's not all video games. some parents won't let kids have any fun anymore. they are so freaked out about child abductions they won't let them out of their sight, they won't let them play with toy guns, etc.

i was checking ign to see if there was anything about the next gta when i saw this http://ps2.ign.com/articles/427/427820p1.html "NFL Street is seven-on-seven street ball showcasing the showoff skills and showboat style of the NFL elite. No helmets, no pads, but all the attitude you'd expect from the game's greats like Ray Lewis, Terrell Owens, Michael Vick, and Marshall Faulk. You can lateral at any time during gameplay, even lateral the ball forward if you want. Holly Roller fumbles are legal, and the playbook is comprised of just as many Hook 'N Ladder passes as it is Post plays." "I can seriously say that NFL Street, even at this early stage, is even better than I imagined. The gameplay is so smooth, controls so intuitive, action so fierce, they can package the version the way it is right now and sell over a million copies...Oh yeah, did I mention that any player can play any position? That's right, if you want Warren Sapp at quarterback, Michael Vick at wide receiver and Jason Taylor at running back, the choice is yours." Sounds wicked sweet.

    Kobe Bryant arrested

The incident supposedly happened on June 30, and one of the newspapers in Denver was reportedly tipped off on the morning of July 1, suspiciously soon after. A warrant wasn't even issued until July 3rd/4th, and he was told about it beforehand so he could come and turn himself in. The bigger media outlets picked up the story around July 5th/6th, after the police finally reported it. "But Eagle County sheriff’s investigators didn’t reveal his arrest until two days later, when he already was released on bail. 'There wasn’t any urgency. We felt we were doing the right thing for everyone involved,' Eagle County Sheriff Joe Hoy said. 'We wanted to give people the time to themselves to adjust' because of the July 4 holiday." That is a bulls*** quote from the Sheriff; what they were doing was trying to give themselves time to find something so they didn't look like idiots when they had no proof for arresting him. They still haven't pressed charges, they still say they don't know if they're going to, even after nine days of investigation they have found nothing. http://www.usatoday.com/sports/basketball/...kobe-main_x.htm "It's amateur hour," Denver-based defense attorney Larry Pozner said. "If there is a sense a citizen may take flight, then you rush ahead. But there's nowhere for Kobe to go. "The prudent thing to do is find the facts and then do the case. If there is no fileable case, the actions of the sheriff do irreparable harm to the reputation." Of course, Kobe could always come out and admit he did something, but I highly doubt it.

    For Michigan Fans

notre dame is as arrogant as they come, touchdown jesus and golden domers and we don't need a conference blah blah blah. can't stand em. miami i should hate, god knows there have been enough agonizing losses (when bettia missed the field goal last year, i felt like i had been shot through the heart. i wandered around town for three hours in the rain, i changed my homepage off of espn.com, i didn't watch anything involving sports for at least a week, which is a lot for me. but i digress.), but when it comes to miami and fsu, i mean i know they're arrogant and such--with the warren sapp and edgerrin james types--but there is a sort of mutual respect. they are on the other side of the state, they kinda do their own thing. i was rooting for them last year too because i hate the f***eyes. but now that miami is in the ACC i will soon hate them as much, or more than florida (if that's possible, which I'm not sure it is). florida, as i explained a little before, can't stand them. ugh, everything about them i hate with a passion. spurrier was my nemesis for so many years in gainesville, then he moved on to become my nemesis in dc (giants fan). still love every time he fails, the visor throwing, the funny faces, the screaming at the quarterback...he is so overrated. also, the supposedly "intimidating" swamp has been no trouble for opposing teams lately. :fyou gators.
  23. Thanks spiff, my system resources are now at about 77% free, and that's with my internet service running. Without the internet running it was 90%. That's a big boost. Anyone have any other ideas. Is there a good free program to stop pop-ups. http://download.com.com/3000-2144-10194058...tml?tag=lst-0-1 i prefer this to a pop up blocker that's always running and can block certain java applets. it scans your hard drive for spyware that gives you pop ups and deletes it.
