if you find yourself telling a baseball player to burn in hell, i suggest taking a step back. i didn't like the koch trade at the time. i don't like when koch comes in the game and screws up. it's demoralizing as all hell. but if this team is going anywhere he's gotta be a part of it. so you might as well get behind him. you people act like he tried to blow the game. i don't doubt that he is giving 100% in trying to close the game out, and it must suck to have to walk into that clubhouse after a game like that. then again, he gets paid outrageous sums of money to finish the job, and he has to figure out one way or another to get it done.

In the 2 spot he gets more fastballs, as the best hitter (A-Rod, Frank) usually hits third. The other team doesn't want to walk whoever's before them, so the second batter gets less offspeed stuff, less movement on the pitches.

this came up lately in a conversation, and it is a point of contention. i said to someone that i wanted to see a ghost, because it would be a cool experience, i would be able to say I saw one, and it would defeat a lot of pragmatic theories. said person replied with "well what if they kill you?" which seemed outrageous, ghosts can't kill people. but after asking a few other people, it seems they thought the same way, that a ghost could indeed kill you. i still contend that they can't. what do you think, could a ghost kill someone?

ESPN's came out yesterday before the Twins game. Sporting News had them 18th on Monday, before the Twins series started. CNNSI had them 20th on the same day (Monday). Sportsline didn't date the article, but I'm assuming it was put out on Monday because it says the Twins are on deck. I'm assuming the last three will change accordingly on Monday, barring a horrible weekend series with Tampa.
