Speaking of the hardest or longest ball hit, everyone forgets about Eric Chavez' shot off Glover that hit above the wall on the mens' restroom in LF on a fly. Little hint, Frank Thomas does not hold the record for the longest HR in the new park if they want to be honest. I did see Kittle and Luzinski hit a roof shot in hte same day in the old park. ahhhhhh memories! That's was the best way to measure a hr in the old park. lower deck, upper deck, roof, over the roof. They need a damn hr porch in the outfield in the new park!

That's because Jerry is saving as much as he can with the name "Comiskey" on it. In a few years the prices will triple. And if they ever put green seats in that park, the blue ones will go for 500.00 a piece. So i dont know why in the hell they give us the crap that it would cost 4 mill to replace them. they will get just about all their money back if not more by selling the old ones.

Here's my take. ............... Comiskey Park was leveled 12 years ago. The new park should never have been named Cimiskey imo. Comiskey started the american league and the sox, but he was an asshole. not many liked him at all. he screwed players out of bonuses and was so cheap to the best team in baseball that they threw a series so they can get their money they should have gotten from him. as long as they fix the upper deck, attact more fans and field a good team, i have no complaints. If this is what it takes to get more asses in the seats, i'll take it. I heard it at least 4 times out of KW's mouth over the weekend. "we're out of money" . He cant say that if they're averaging 35,000 a game. And again. There was only 1 comiskey park and it gone, so i dont car what htey call this one.

I talked to JoeyRehab (joebatters) We're going to bring him back , but he knows he's going to catch hell all season long. He's sober now and doing well.
