In all honesty I wouldn't mind seeing us give up Ginter, Hummell and one pitcher of their choice not including Honel or Rauch. I kind of wonder if Borchard or Caballo or Rowand could be part of this deal though. I mean Colon is a premiere pitcher so it will cost something to get him.

Well, their goes what I said about Okohoma as they were beaten by Texas A and M. Now that to me means Miami, Ohio State, Texas, Washington State and then Iowa in the BCS or that would be my assumption. Oklohoma will fall behind them. Now for Iowa to win I think that Washington State will have to lose to Oregon and then Ohio State to Michigan, that would be my guesses and then you get a Texas vs Iowa National Title Game. Of course odds are it won't happen, but hey I can wish.

Ohio State is just like Notre Dame except they have a better running back(Claudett or whatever his name his) I'm telling you all, watch Notre Dame play they are a very complete football team now that their defense keeps playing better. I think Oklohoma is probably the best team in the country, and maybe Miami at two if they can beat Virginia Tech and Tenessee, but after that, I'd have Iowa as the best one loss team(Of course thats if they beat Minnesota)

From what I know KW is looking soley at acquiring a pitcher or two pitchers and thats what his concentration will be at the Winter Meetings. He seems happy with the offense so I doubt we get either, although picking up a stud shortstop or centerfielder would be sweet. Of course we all know I'd love the Shortstop cause it would mean we could dump Manos.

I think you saw that right. Sometimes I come on and their are like 15 guests and slowly the numbers trickle down. We got a lot of people lurkin, hopefully one day all of those lurkers will register, but hey they are welcome to read all the great insite that goes on here!!!!!!!!!

JB would be a great pickup if he's the second starter we pick up. That way we have a backup plan if anyone goes down and he could always settle in and pitch long relief out of the pen. I'd rather have JB then Ginter in that area. As far as Williams goes, I still say I'd rather have Byrd, especially because Williams is always injured.

The other Matsui would be an awesome pickup for us. He's the top japanese shortstop and is supposed to be a very very good offensive player as well as a great defensive player.

I like Blake a lot too. You know they will each be available again this offseason and someone like that would be a great pickup because they'd play their butt off as a starter, but they are also used to coming off the bench and being backups as well. I would mind bringing both of them in and a rookie. It would leave us awful deep, cause in all honesty I don't want a rookie starting for us next year at the qb, unless we really suck early on.

Loosing to Navy 23-15 and they are turning the ball over all over the place. Looks to me like their are starting to play more like their talent level. Offense completely blows, defense is fine, but they've given up a ton of rushing yards today. On a brighter note, Brad Banks had a dominate game and Iowa is lighting up Northwestern 62-10 with 10 minutes to go in the 4th. All of Iowa's backups are in.

I hear the Yanks are going to offer him 10-12 million per year over 2 years. I'd love to sign this guy to play center for us and then deal for a starting pitcher then would come to us cheaply. If JR wanted to draw fans he'd bring in the top foreign player in the world. This guy hit 50 homers last year in Japan and the Major Leaguers that are seeing him in the tour against the Japenese All Stars have all raved about him. Please JR GET HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!

I heard on the sports radio today that the Sox are one of the teams that will talk to Woody Williams. I like Williams a lot, but he is too injured too often. I think for the Sox sake, Paul Byrd is probably the best option. I also wouldn't mind seeing us give JB a 500k offer and let him come in to add depth.

Oh god, I love it, I Love it!!!!!

I know one thing, dump Fizer and Crawford for another quality player, maybe we can get a starting guard and then Hassell can come off the bench, which is where I think he's best suited. Baxter is a stud pickup in the 2nd round, yet another great late round pick up by Krause to go with Hassell of last year. Now the Bulls have to dump the triangle, I have never seen an offense have so much trouble doing anything. They just pass around the arc and no one seems to go in and penetrate because it isn't great for the triangle. The thing is Jrose and Jwill are both exceptional at doing that and we've looked the best when they are penetrating and dishing and drawing fouls. Dump Fizer, I like the guy a lot, but he's a freakin black hole!!!!!!!!!!

Gary, I'm with you on this. Did you happen to see that Chandler is starting again on Sunday. Man, he's sucked since he's came in and he takes way too many sacks. We are definately going to get a high pick this year (Knock on Wood, lol) Personally I'd like to see us dump both of our qb's this offseason, draft one and then sign a vet in here who will be happy to eventually back up. I wouldn't mind bringing someone like Charlie Batch in here. I never knew why no one liked him, he's a solid qb who busts his butt.
