What a coquincedence. I was in a band myself (we broke up though..) We were more like a heavy metal, alternative, emo type. My friend's band is going to go far I believe. They are really good. Let's just say it was a hit and run but it was a bad pitch to Rowand, and Konerko showed his tremendous speed to steal second. Everyone in the sox bench Hawk and DJ, hell, even Tony G. from the royals were all surprised and laughing when he did.

Koch was touching 95-96. He wasn't hitting it consistantly, but he did hit 96. Yes, Politte hit 99, but that was just one time, and it was on hs first pitch.

Yea, and what if Koch gave up a HR to Stairs? You probably would have said put Marte in to face which ever batter. Even if Marte got rocked it's in SPRING TRAINING!! That decision by Ozzie could had gone eigher way. I'm actually happy our lost came from Marte because he is our best reliever. It would had been even worse if we lost because of Adkins or Jackson giving up a bomb He was just off today.

Wells looked absolutely mature out there today for the Pirates. I remember a highlight when he had 2 runners on, and he struke out the hard of the order for the Phillies. He is an ace in waiting IMHO..

Another positive is Konerko getting back on track with the bat. People here are forgetting about that.

First of all, our bullpen does not suck. God I hate it when we lose a game becasue of anything and then the bashing begins. Those who do that are not true sox fans IMO. I won't even go into Marte being a fluke cause that is one of the most dumbest remarks I've ever heard. Pollite can pitch more than an inning, Ozzie tried to pitch him 3 today but the last inning couldn't get it done.
