Much better this game Bulls (and Boylen). Satoransky was terrific.

Castellanos
Ricky wouldn't do it though. Abreu is stapled to the 3 spot one way or another.

Castellanos
That would require Ricky actually giving them the green light.

Castellanos
Would love to see him hit in our park.

Castellanos
I'd take him at DH. Always thought Castellanos figured it out with the bat as a late bloomer. Reminds me of JD Martinez in that aspect (obviously not as good).

No... you're really not (at least not the GM).- A Realistic Offseason
You sure that wasn't you PM'ing him nonstop to meet up?- A Realistic Offseason
Here was the confusion from some regarding Jack's post. He says the Sox, not Chicago (his next post specifically said the Cubs are more desirable). I can see why some were confused because who really says "the team" when discussing a city? That would be like somebody arguing that nobody wants to play for the Mets and would rather play in Florida or Cleveland (but would play for the Yankees in New York). Basically @SonofaRoache is correct in his assessment regarding the actual convo.- Angels decline $14 million option on Kole Calhoun
I'd rather have Castellanos in all honesty, despite the defense.- A Realistic Offseason
I believe he said the video helped, but the Sox showed the most interest or something along those lines. St. Louis post-dispatch had this. “I feel comfortable with this team, with the people that I met with,” Robert told reporters the day he signed his contract. “I picked the Chicago White Sox because it was the team that scouted me most.” The money didn’t hurt, either. What was Lance Berkman’s memorable line years ago? “It’s always about the money.” The White Sox handed Robert a $26 million signing bonus, meaning they paid $52 million after the tax from exceeding their international bonus pool. The Cardinals’ offer, which would have faced the same tax, was for less. They did not receive a chance to counter. “When you’re looking at the overall investment it’s real and historically there aren’t too many players who sign for those type of dollars,” John Mozeliak, president of baseball operations, said in 2017 after the Cardinals received word they had not landed Robert. “It’s really hard to justify those types of dollars for any player with a lack of a proven track record. No matter how you try to equate the Cuban league or his international experience, it’s very hard to calibrate what that means to here (in the majors).”- Sox issue qualifying offer to Abreu
Well Jose... Let's see if you "sign yourself".- A Realistic Offseason
