  1. That is what happens when you bat your worst hitter 7th.
  2. Played 9 games in LF this year. Only time he's played the OF in his professional career was this year.
  3. Palka has no business even hitting in front of Yolmer at this point, yet alone Collins.
  4. I've never seen Juan Pierre throw a ball to home plate in his career (and if he did, I'm sure the ball bounced like 7 times before reaching home plate). I've seen Eloy do it a couple of times off of one hop. He may not have the velocity on his throws, but nothing wrong with his arm strength.
  5. Naw I'm not going that far. I'm not sure how often fangraphs updates their stats, but he was a -11 DRS just a few weeks ago. Now he's a -9 DRS. Still not good, but he's improving.
  6. Have faith in Jeter and Marlins ownership.
  7. Somebody's been reading my posts..
  8. If there's one thing that's disappointed me with Eloy, it's his glove, not his bat. Wasn't expecting a world beater, but did not think he would be THIS bad.
  9. Rodgers is the king of throwing the ball away. He is very careful of his INT stats. Always has been.
  10. They traded Yelich with 5+ years of control. (I know, I know his salary was more) I agree it's probably not as likely, but who knows with that FO.
  11. Great win! (even for the tank crew, this was a hell of a game).
  12. He's changed his mind so much about players when he says his "hot takes" it's hard to keep up.
  13. I honestly thought Leury was bunting. Would've made more sense in that instance.
  14. You're acting like Collins is as slow as Jimenez or Abreu.
  15. Parkman gonna eat serious crow with Collins.
  16. Why would you pinch run with a runner on third base (barring the Ricky special bunt)? Whatever.
  17. Bummer could've done this an inning ago. Ah well.
  18. I still maintain my Anderson suggestion. I have faith in Jeter giving another guy away. Plus he is elite defensively in RF AND 3B. So when Moncada goes on his usual IL stint, you can plug him there and I guess a Leury in RF and not miss much of a beat. He is the type of guy the Sox SHOULD be targeting. Solid bat, good defensive, versatile type players.
  19. Man Moncada has some serious range. He nearly had that ball. And of course Anderson missing another throw.
  20. Now Bummer is in lol. Oh Ricky.
