QUOTE (ChiliIrishHammock24 @ Oct 20, 2016 -> 06:02 PM) Going out on a limb and picked up Packers WR/RB Ty Montgomery for tonight's game and dropped Pierre Garcon, and am starting him now that Lacy is out. Did the same thing. Sitting pretty with him and Rodgers performance even though Jordan Howard is slipping on me.

QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Oct 20, 2016 -> 01:09 PM) Packers starting RB tonight is Don Jackson. This dude is really good, let me tell ya. I have no idea who he is. I thought it was Ty Montgomery?

Deadpool has been pretty quiet the past 2 games. What gives?

QUOTE (JUSTgottaBELIEVE @ Oct 18, 2016 -> 10:21 PM) Why bring back Jansen with a 6 run lead? Would be nice to have him available for both games 4 and 5 if needed. They must of saw the Giants series. Cubs generally don't just give up.

Seabrook has been outstanding so far this year. Like watching 2010-12 version.

QUOTE (beautox @ Oct 17, 2016 -> 09:32 PM) With how thin the market on starting pitching is let alone impact starting pitching the white sox should cash in. Rich Hill is the best option of the market this year. If Boston wants Sale then they'll have to pony up and JBJr shouldn't even be in the conversation he'll be 27 on opening day and is about to be very expensive due to his super 2 status, he'll have 4 ARB years. I would expect a package around Chris to look like this: LF/CF Andrew Benintendi, 2B Yoan Moncada, C/OF Blake Swihart, LHP Jason Groome (who is eligible to be traded after the world series) and RHRP Trey Ball. If Sale is moved there is no reason not to move on everyone except Anderson, Rodon & possibly Eaton, as he could be a part of the next divisional title, due to his age and contract. We're definitely on the same page here.

QUOTE (soxfan2014 @ Oct 17, 2016 -> 05:26 PM) You're going to be disappointed if you are expecting a 4-5 year overhaul of the organization. When you hear "rebuild" that's what you expect. If that's the case, just keep the other two 27 year olds and continue to "retool".
-
QUOTE (SouthSideSale @ Oct 17, 2016 -> 04:14 PM) JBJ would at least give us one established veteran in return. That's the whole point with me. If you are rebuilding, why are you trading for a guy who will be 27 next season? Go young with the rebuild, don't half ass it like we've been doing with the "retooling".

QUOTE (bmags @ Oct 17, 2016 -> 12:37 PM) I was able to swap him out too in time. More sad that Ajayi put the nail in the arian foster coffin I had been stashing. I'm still not sure about Ajayi. I wanna try and claim him, but James White is out there (as well as Dion Lewis obviously whose suppose to be back after the Pats bye week) and we all know the Pats offense is a gold mine with Brady at QB. (I have Gronk already and Bennett himself is a solid 1 TE in fantasy) Could be a sign of things to come, or a Jeremy Hill type one big game wonder. (Matt Jones is available too btw, but not too interested)

QUOTE (bmags @ Oct 17, 2016 -> 10:23 AM) I kinda believe if you put Jordan Howard behind that line you would see only marginally less production than EE. Meh.. I've seen Zeke hit that second stage and he's gone with his speed. Howard has similar vision and ability to break tackles, but he doesn't have Elliott's game breaking speed. That's what separates him (along with alot of RBs in the league).

I wonder how many Will Fuller fantasy owners got screwed over by the Texans. Not that I'm complaining, because I was playing the guy who has him.
-
Still can't believe Maddon still has Rizzo at the 3 spot, but keep putting him there.
-
Jansen you stud.
-
A bunt Puig.. really?
-
Aaron Rodgers is single handedly killing my fantasy team. Serves me right for drafting a Packer.

Not a lot of things went right in the Emery era, but Willie Young was a great find.

QUOTE (ChiliIrishHammock24 @ Oct 14, 2016 -> 01:54 AM) Did you watch the game, or are you letting your hatred of him blind you?

Dodgers have a solid bullpen, but Kershaw might not pitch till game 3. Could be huge break for the Cubs.

Forsling, Kempny and Motte looked very good in their NHL debuts. Seabrook was great. Toews and Panik solid. TVR on the other hand was terrible. Slow, not physical and no offense. Ideally a #7 defenseman at best, but can be a #6 who should rotate in that spot. Schmaltz wasn't very good. Tootoo was as invisible as his ice time.

QUOTE (zenryan @ Oct 12, 2016 -> 07:27 PM) Will there be any more Matthews apparel in the Toronto arena team store after tonight's game? What a debut for that kid.
-
Yea I got Coates last week (and left him on my bench and he went off which would have given me the win....) putting in one for Kerley this week. Not a fan of having too many Bears players. I already have Jordan Howard, so no Meredith.

QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Oct 12, 2016 -> 12:02 AM) I guess go Nationals? Dodgers match up way better in my opinion.
-
QUOTE (iamshack @ Oct 11, 2016 -> 07:29 PM) JBJ, I can see the value, and adding defensive value seems to be something that is a bit more predictable than offense (particularly for us), but I agree with those that would rather see the return be more prospect-based. Yep. If sox are serious about rebuilding they need younger players. JBJ will be 27 next season in his prime.
-
QUOTE (iWin4Ron @ Oct 11, 2016 -> 06:57 PM) Agreed. Hopefully Nats finish them off here! Might be the one series where I'd hope Dodgers win. Nationals are a very unlikable organization.

The Carolina Panthers have the same record as the Bears. Let that sink in for a second.
