  1. He cannot be traded because he would have to go through waivers.

  3. Between the NFL and NBA, I'd guess that at least 25% of the players use marijuana in the offseason.
  4. I like it, SF1. You are getting better. Just stay away from scan lines and outer glows and you should be okay.
  5. It's times like these when I always go back to my favorite standby...
  6. QUOTE(YASNY @ Aug 18, 2005 -> 01:32 PM) The Phillies 23 in a row is the most since 1900. Oh good... So I was doubting myself then.

    Celebrity Crush

Would Dolly Parton circa 1979, be an embarassing crush? Who needs a pillow when you have her chest to lay on?
  8. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Aug 18, 2005 -> 12:47 PM) No way in hell do I move Arow from CF. He's earned that spot. Griff can take the DH spot or play some corner OF. The only time I want Griffey in CF is to give Rowand a rest . Not if playing CF is contingent on him dropping his no-trade clause.
  9. Double-checking my stats... 24 by an NL Cleveland team in 1899 is the record. The Phillies lost 27 in one month in 1939, however. The 1968 Chicago White Sox lost a Major League record forty-four one run games. Imagine us pulling out our hair to that bullpen, huh?
  10. What would Seattle do without our minor league scouts?
  11. I think the issue is that, the pics are blurry. You need to use pictures that are close to 700x500 pixels so that you don't stretch the pics out too large and make them blurry.
  12. Right now, you'd have Dye in LF, Griffey in CF and ARow in RF with Carl DHing. Dye and Carl would platoon when Pods gets back.
  13. QUOTE(Steff @ Aug 18, 2005 -> 12:09 PM) Yep. That's the record. Yep, the AL record. The MLB record is like...23 by the Phillies, I believe.
  14. I always Barcelo was going to be great. Man, he was a disappointment.
  15. The ESPeN folks are hollering for Mariano Rivera. :rolly
  16. Dunn had an above average year in '04. Davis had a pretty nice year, but could have done more in '04. I would say that if the league was in the long term, you would easily win out with Davis. In the short term, it is close to even. Houston's O-Line is very mediocre. Bordering on lousy. Atlanta has a quality O-Line and many more options than Houston. The real question is: "Will Vick share the ball with Dunn more this year?". I would say that Davis is a better pick if he can make his own running lanes like he did last year; but, I don't think that you "robbed" the other owner.
  17. QUOTE(wsox08 @ Aug 18, 2005 -> 01:03 AM) for some reason you always think that I am NOT CALM.. Because he is afraid of an ass whuppin'.
  18. Injuns get whupped by Texas. We can't do s*** lately, though.
  19. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Aug 17, 2005 -> 09:38 PM) You should try and make it look like he's in a Sox Jersey and not an altered Reds jersey. I didn't think it was that bad.
  20. I made that before seeing this thread. Opinions? Things I should fix, change?
  21. If Pods was in left, it would be 3-0 now with his arm.
